Not afraid of Ford issuing a new car, afraid of the name with Raptor. Following the popular Bronco, Ford continued to add a fire, launching the blockbuster Bronco Raptor on the basis of the Bronco.

As we all know, the Raptor is the hardcore of Ford's hardcore cars, whether it is the F-150 Raptor or the Ranger Raptor, it is the benchmark in its class. With the release of the Bronco Raptor, Ford assembled the "Raptor Three-Piece Suit".
Designed and built by Ford's performance division, the Bronco Raptor is the world's first ultra-car-inspired hardcore SUV. Although it doesn't have the steel tubular structure of an Ultra4 race car, the Bronco Raptor's styling is exactly the standard for an Ultra4 race car, inheriting the iconic design of the Raptor family. It's 241mm wider than the regular Bronco and comes standard with 37-inch off-road tires for faster, high-speed turns.
As Ford put it, the Bronco Raptor's shape is exactly the silhouette of an Ultra4 car, with tough lines while retaining clean lines. The iconic grille is embedded with the letters "FORD" in the middle; the LED daytime lights are designed in amber, while the headlamps are blackened and infused with the DNA of the Raptor family.
The hood is covered with muscular plastic pieces and the vents are designed red to highlight the performance of the Raptor. New heat sinks have been added on both sides of the fender to provide cooling for the engine.
Ford Performance developed a heavy-duty steel tow hook, a winch interface on the lower bumper, a detachable LED fog light on both sides, and a light-colored chassis skid further down.
The interior design adopts a more traditional style, integrating a 12-inch fully digital instrument cluster with a bronco-exclusive display mode.
Based on the regular model, the Bronco Raptor comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen equipped with the SYNC 4 system, 360° video, a 10-speaker B&O sound system, and adaptive cruise.
Materially, the Bronco Raptor is equipped with marine-grade vinyl seats and flushable rubber flooring, with orange accents that represent Ford's performance cars in terrain selection knobs, dashboard vents, door nets, stitching, and more.
In addition, owners can also choose the vehicle, optional accessories include laser-punched vinyl suede seats, vinyl dashboard, aluminum-magnesium alloy paddle shifters, Raptor logo steering wheel and so on.
In terms of chassis, the Bronco Raptor switched to a new shock absorber tower to increase suspension travel and durability. In terms of body, the new B-pillar and C-pillar reinforcements increase the torsional strength of the body by more than 50% compared with the standard four-door model.
The axles are built on the same race-class axle of the Bronco DR racer developed by Ford Performance, and the rear solid axle is upgraded to a semi-floating Dana 50 Heavy-Duty AdvanTEK with a 235mm ring of gear, and the front axle is the Dana 44 AdvanTEK with a 210mm ring of gear.
After the replacement of the front and rear axles, the Bronco Raptor's wheelbase was increased by 218mm compared to the regular model, and the minimum ground clearance reached 333mm, which was 122mm more than the ordinary model.
In terms of suspension, the Bronco Raptor uses a high-performance Off-Road Stable Suspension (HOSS) system developed in partnership with FOX. Similar in design to the F-150 Raptor, the front and rear control arms provide 13 and 14 inches of travel, more than 40 percent higher than the base model.
To meet the vehicle's high-speed performance at the same time, Ford Performance purchased a 37-inch KO2 all-terrain tire (37x12.50R17LT) for the Bronco Raptor with a 17-inch anti-off rim.
To cope with high-speed sand penetration or rock climbing, the Bronco Raptor is equipped with a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine, both intercooled and air intake systems, with a maximum power of more than 294 kW, and is paired with a 10AT automatic transmission.
At the same time, the engine also uses an active exhaust valve control system to improve the exhaust sound with nearly equal length pipes. With four selectable exhaust modes, the Bronco Raptor can deliver four exhaust sounds: Normal, Sporty, Quiet and Baja.
In terms of all-terrain management system, the Bronco Raptor has also added a tuned Baja mode on top of the normal model GOAT mode, which allows the engine turbine to intervene in advance to improve desert crossing performance. In addition, the car can provide a weight of 2041kg, which is 450kg more than the ordinary model.
The new car will begin to accept bookings in March of this year and will be available this summer, starting at $69,995, $6,000 less than the Wrangler Rubicon 392. The question is, the price of parallel imports of Bronco reached 700,000 yuan, so if the Bronco Raptor is imported in parallel, how much do you think it can soar?
