The F-150 Sidewinder is based on the XL (entry-level) model and features a double-row four-wheel drive model. The exterior part is obviously different from the regular version of the model, with the Rattler logo at the vent behind the front fender, the decal on the side of the cargo box is more obvious, and the snakeskin pattern is also added, which is very personal. The rear of the vehicle adopts a bilateral double exhaust layout to increase the performance atmosphere of the whole vehicle. The 18-inch aluminum rims are paired with off-road tires and match the positioning of mild off-road.
The interior of the vehicle has not changed much, with the addition of a bronze color scheme, including seat stitching. In terms of configuration, the F-150 Sidewinder adds some accessories from the FX4 option package to the starter version, including an electronic rear axle differential lock, a steep descent control system, and shock absorbers that are biased toward off-road tuning. In addition, there are accessories such as chassis guards, which make the vehicle more secure in rough road conditions.
In terms of power, it is expected that the F-150 Sidewinder will use the 2.7-liter V6 gasoline engine equipped with the entry-level version, and of course, the four-wheel drive system will also be equipped. Ford officials did not disclose the specific price of the car this time, but with the starting price of the XL version, combined with the price of the FX4 off-road kit, plus transportation costs, etc., the car is expected to be about $39,860 (about 250,000 yuan). But considering that the F-150 Sidewinder doesn't include all of the FX4 options, it's not expected to be higher than that. Compared to the More than $50,000 Tremor version and the Raptor Raptor Raptor version of the F-150, the Sidewinder version is already very "close to the people", which can provide more consumers who prefer mild off-roading with car options.
