According to Zhitong Finance, Boeing has pledged to invest another $450 million in an existing joint venture to develop autonomous air taxis , California-based Wisk Aero. Unlike most electric air taxi companies, Wisk focuses on autonomous flight. The company has not provided a date for commissioning, but said its autonomous passenger vehicle will be the first air taxi to be certified in the United States.
