The "Fuxi" chip adopts C-sky domestic instruction set, and the Domestic kernel of the Gentetsu series is used as the computing core, which ensures the independent controllability of the core intellectual property rights of the chip; the first special hardware algorithm IP such as electrical parameter calculation, power network communication, data parallel processing, and network security protection that meets the needs of power industrial control applications is created, and the digital transformation of the power grid effectively supports the basic computing power of power equipment and the demand for network security protection. In terms of general computing power and real-time computing of converged services, "Fuxi" has outstanding performance advantages and low power consumption.

In 2013, the "Fuxi" team developed a highly integrated, miniaturized, fast-moving, and highly reliable control protection device "Chip Protection". Compared with traditional devices, this new device is reduced by 2%, power consumption is reduced by 85%, operating speed is increased by 20%, the overall protection class is IP67, and the operating ambient temperature is widened to -40-85 °C.

On this basis, the team launched the second stage of research and design work on domestic power chips, aiming to open a new chapter in the core components of power industrial control equipment. According to Xinhua News Agency, the "Fuxi" project team immersed in research, after countless experiments, at the end of 2019, the first version of the "Fuxi" chip sample was successfully delivered, not only based entirely on the domestic instruction architecture and domestic kernel, from design to packaging the whole process has been completed in China, the comprehensive performance is 1.5 times that of imported similar products, and the network storm resistance has increased by 60 times.

IT Home learned that since the end of 2019 in the substation relay protection application, the "Fuxi" chip has been successfully applied in nearly 30 types of devices in the fields of substation, distribution, new energy, edge computing and other fields, and has been recognized by industry experts and scholars and mainstream manufacturers.

In 2021, after nearly ten years and multi-scenario verification, the first domestic power-specific main control chip based on the domestic instruction architecture and the domestic core "Fuxi" achieved mass production, marking the transformation of the core chip in the field of power industrial control in the mainland from "imported universal" to "independent special", and the core components of power secondary equipment have achieved independent control, ensuring the supply security of nearly 100 billion yuan of domestic power grid equipment.
