Du Fu, the "poet saint", not only has many poems and good poetry, but also has a good popularity, and his friends range from high-ranking officials and dignitaries such as Xiang Xiang and Shi Shi, such as Fang Zhen and Yan Wu, down to low-level figures such as minor officials and micro-officials, such as Zheng Qian and Cen Shan, almost all walks of life. Among the many friends, Gao Shi was du Fu's close friend, he helped Du Fu the most, played a pivotal role in him, and the relationship between them directly determined the direction of Du Fu's life.
The encounter between Du Fu and Gao Shi was in the twenty-seventh year of the New Century (739), when the high adaptation system was not in the middle, and Du Fu did not enter the army, and when he saw it in Wenshang, he became a close friend. During the Juliang and Song dynasties, the two often exchanged views, and there were also singing and harmony from time to time during the Chang'an period. However, the lives behind the two are very different, Gao Shi has made a career all the way, but Du Fu has been bumpy all the way.
In the first year of the Yuan Dynasty (760), Du Fu did not receive a response from Gao Shi, then the pastor of Pengzhou, for help due to financial constraints. To this end, Du Fu wrote a poem "Incui Five Attendants Sent Gao Pengzhou a Must":
Halfway through the century, the autumn solstice turned to hunger and cold.
In order to ask Peng Zhoumu when to save the emergency.
This shows that Gao Shi did not respond to Du Fu's request for help. In the second year of the First Yuan Dynasty (761), Gao Shi was appointed as the Assassin of Shu Prefecture and visited Du Fu. Du Fu composed "Fengjian Gao Thirty-five Envoys":

It can be seen that Du Fu's feelings for Gao Shi are still very deep, and he also admires his high-ranking official Houlu. In the first year of Baoying (762), Du Fu went to Mianzhou, and was encountering a rebellion in Shuzhong and wanted to return to Chengdu Caotang, so he asked Gao Shi for help again, "Sending Gao Shi":
Chu is far away, and it is difficult to attract the souls of sick people.
The name of the poem is shared by me, and the world is discussed with whom.

Gao Shi did not reply, and Du Fu could only be displaced. In the first year of Guangde (763), Gao Shi took command to resist the defeat of Tubo, and Du Fu wrote poems such as "Wang Feng", "ZhengFu", and "Three Songs of Xishan" to express his sorrow for the livelihood of the people and his dissatisfaction with the reinforcements of the commander. In the second year of Guangde (764), Gao Shi was recalled to Beijing, and Du Fu composed "Feng Zhi Gao Chang Shi":
Wenshang has met for many years, and there is no such thing as a person.
General Rong Chu Shu should be completely unfinished, and Fang Cao Cao Liu is worth it.

It expressed a high evaluation of Gao Shi's future and talents, which fully reflected the deep friendship between the two.
Judging from the interaction between Du Fu and Gao Shi in Shuzhong, many people believe that there is a rift in the relationship between the two. In fact, this problem needs to be viewed from the different perspectives of Du Fu and Gao Shi. Du Fu's feelings for Gao Shi were always there, and he felt that the two had always been like when they first met, with friendship, deep friendship, and equal confidants, so Gao Shi was grateful when he gave help, anxious when he did not reply, criticized when the battle failed, and encouraged when he returned to Beijing to be responsible. The simple friendship of "Wenshang Encounter" with sincerity and unscrupulousness continued with Du Fu. But Du Fu did not realize that the difference in status and personality had made his relationship with Gao Shi no longer so close and equal. Gao Shi's attitude is easy to change, so the Old Book of Tang evaluates him as "a gentleman who thinks he is righteous and knows how to change." Due to the disparity in experience and identity, his feelings for Du Fu have changed, and he will no longer be as responsive as before, nor will he have that kind of heart-to-heart concern.
Treating friendship, Du Fu's unchanged and high-level change, personality, has nothing to do with right or wrong.
