In the past year, 240,000 doctors in regular hospitals across the country have provided 48.55 million graphic consultation services, 930,000 telephone consultation services, and 700,000 outpatient/consultation services on the Good Doctor online platform. After the patient went to the hospital for treatment, 690,000 medical evaluations were published through the good doctor online platform, and the satisfaction of the efficacy and attitude after the treatment was feedback.

Based on the above data, the good doctor online platform formulated selection rules, comprehensively evaluated the doctor's service volume on the platform, service depth, response timeliness, reply satisfaction, patient post-doctor evaluation and other dimensions, after rigorous calculation, from the country's 240,000 doctors, 453 good doctors in 2021, 80 young good doctors, and 8 county good doctors were selected.

In order to continuously improve the quality of medical services, this year's selection criteria have added a service depth index, focusing on the depth of doctor-patient communication and the quality of doctors' services. At the same time, the list also added a new "Good Nurse of the Year" selection, advocating medical and nursing cooperation, encouraging nurses across the country to work online, giving full play to the professional ability of nurses, and following the treatment and care of patients to their homes. This year, a total of 3 nurses from all over the country were listed.

From the perspective of department coverage, this year's list covers 47 disciplines such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, etc., and some departments are subdivided, such as gynecology, obstetrics, urology, andrology for independent calculation, and add nutrition, rehabilitation, allergy, emergency/intensive medicine, endemic diseases, health management 6 disciplines, covering more comprehensive and professional.

From the perspective of regional and hospital distribution, among the doctors on the list, Beijing and Shanghai continue to lead the number of doctors, occupying 159 and 139 seats respectively. The third to fifth places are Guangdong (43 people on the list), Jiangsu (31 people on the list), And Shandong (24 people on the list). There are 7 hospitals with more than 10 doctors on the list, namely Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University (22 people on the list), Peking Union Medical College Hospital (16 people on the list), the First Medical Center of the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (10 people on the list), the First Hospital of Peking University (12 people on the list), the Third Hospital of Peking University (10 people on the list), peking university people's hospital (10 people on the list), and the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (10 people on the list).

Judging from the situation of doctors on the list, until the announcement of this year's annual good doctor list, there are 23 doctors who have won the title of "Annual Good Doctor" for 7 times, 7 doctors who have won the title of "Annual Good Doctor" for 8 years, and Professor Fang Yousheng, chief physician of hand surgery of Shanghai Huashan Hospital, is the only "Grand Slam" doctor, who has been on the list for nine consecutive years.
