Love is companionship year after year
Life is always more exciting than novels and movies, and the more true the story, the more powerful it has to shake people's hearts.
"1778 Stories for His Wife" was written by Japanese science fiction novelist Mr. Takashi Memomura based on his own personal experience.
On June 12, 1997, Iemura's wife, Ms. Etsuko, was found to have colorectal cancer, which was in an incurable stage. According to the doctor's estimate, Etsuko's life is less than a year left. This news is undoubtedly a thunderbolt for Memura. "What can you do for a wife who has been working together for half a lifetime?" Is there any way to extend her life? Even if it only makes her happy every day that remains..." Holding back her grief, Megura thought of a way: write a short story every day that would make her laugh. It was her strength and the only thing I could do for her.
On July 16, 1997, the first story came out. Since then, Memura Zhuo wrote every day, and Etsuko read every day. It's never easy to think of a hilarious idea every day, and there are always times when people who are full of inspiration and sparks dry up, but Mememura persists with his almost stubborn ideas... Not one
years, but five years! Unconsciously, Megura and Etsuko, together, created a miracle of life!
On May 28, 2002, Etsuko closed her eyes safely. On this day, Megura wrote the 1778th final story for his beloved wife, which was published and distributed in Japan in the form of a series of books, and once launched, it caused a sensation throughout Japan, no less than the effect of "Hawthorn Tree Love" in China. The pure love film "1778 Stories of My Wife and Me" adapted from this book was released in Japan in early 2011 and exceeded one billion at the box office, even the global hit "Social Network" can not match it.
The book contains 19 of the 1778 stories. Interspersed with this is the author's record of his wife's life in the past 5 years of illness, as well as the memories of the two people for decades, in addition to the author's notes for the 19 stories, introducing the original intention of the story and his own mood at that time. It is worth mentioning that the author does not focus on rendering a sad and heavy tone. The 19 stories are imaginative, humorous and lovely, and the record of daily life is calm and warm. Reading this book, you don't need a tissue, but your heart has already melted unconsciously.
This book is dedicated to those who have loved, or are in love. Love is companionship year after year, may we all find the person who holds hands through life.
