Joss Whedon responded to allegations that several Justice League stars lobbied against his bad behavior.

The filmmaker took over the production of the 2017 superhero movie when director Zack Snyder had to leave due to a family emergency.

In the summer of 2020, Ray Fisher, who played superhero Cyborg in the film, claimed that Wheaton was "abusive" and "unprofessional" in making the film.

The claims sparked WarnerMedia's investigation into the matter, leading to "remedial action," though no other specifications were shared. Fisher was later removed from the cast of the upcoming "The Flash" movie.

Meanwhile, Fisher's "Justice League" co-star Gal Gadot made his claim to Wedon, claiming he "threatened" her career. Jason Momoa, who also appears in the film, also backed Fisher, claiming they endured "s---ty" treatment on set.

Now, Whedon insists he is innocent on the matter and denies wrongdoing. In addition, the filmmaker said that because Fisher's poor acting skills and the story was "logically meaningless," he reduced Fisher's role in the film.

"We're talking about an evil force," Whipden told New York Magazine. "We're talking about bad actors in two senses.

He also argues that he didn't change the tone of Fisher's skin, but instead gave the entire film a lighter look.

Fisher, 33, shared his response on Twitter on Monday: "It looks like Joss Whedon is going to direct a final game after all... Today, I'm not going to address all the lies and gibberish, but rather celebrating the legacy of Pastor Martin Luther King Jr.

Whedon also denied Gadot's claims he threatened her career.

"English wasn't her first language, and I tended to be annoyingly fancy in my speeches," he said. Gadot, 36, is an Israeli.

The director said that the two were talking about a scene that Gadot wanted to see. Whedon recalled that she told her she had to tie his body to the train tracks to cut the scene.

"Then I was told that I said something about her body and tied her to the rails," Whipden said. In an email to the media, Gadot responded: "I totally understand.

Also in the interview, Whedon responded to allegations by "Buffy the Vampire Killer" star Charlesia Carpenter, who claimed that the "Buffy" writer asked her if she would "keep" her child when she was pregnant and "manipulatively weaponized my femininity and beliefs against me."
