Wonder Woman Gal Gadot wears slender legs when she attends the red carpet of the world premiere of Barbie in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old Israeli-born beauty was smiling as she walked the red carpet alone at the premiere at the Downtown Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium.
Ironically, just over a month ago, Barbie star Margot Robbie revealed that Gal Gadot herself was the first choice to play the iconic Mattel role in the film.
Gadot appeared in a stunning brown sleeveless dress with white vertical pinstripes on the side, shaping it into a delicate bow in preparation for the event.
She ties her dark hair into a ponytail, wears gold earrings and a distinctive cream handbag.
The Wonder Woman star finished her look by walking gracefully down the red carpet in nude heels.
Back in late May, Barbie star Margot Robbie (who had been a producer before participating) revealed that she and director Greta Gerwig first considered Gadot for the much-loved role.
"Gal Gadot is Barbie Energy." Because Gal Gadot is incredibly beautiful, but you won't hate her for being so beautiful because she's so sincere and she's so warm and kind. Robbie said in an interview with Vogue.
However, Gadot failed to star, so Robbie himself played the role in the new film, which will be released on July 21 and co-star Robbie with Ryan Gosling.
Margot Robbie also attended the world premiere of Barbie along with Dua Lipa and Nicki Minaj. Shay Mitchell wore a bell dress to the world premiere of the live-action Barbie movie Los Angeles.
Directed by Greta Gerwig and based on a screenplay she co-wrote with Noah Baumbach, the storyline is largely classified, but Vogue now reports that the play was inspired by the 1994 book Resurrecting Ophelia, which Gerwig read as a child, detailing the problems problem girls face as they enter adolescence.
In addition to Robbie playing Barbie and Gosling as Ken, the romantic comedy stars América Ferreira, Will Farrell, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Emma McGee, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Ray, Michael Serra, Rhea Pierman, Nuti Gatwa, Emerald Fennell, Scott Evans, Connor Swindell, Ritu Alyo, Jamie Demetrio and Marissa Abela.
Barbie is scheduled to premiere in theaters in the UK and the US on July 21.
