The project is jointly developed and built a high-standard, high-tech modern agricultural demonstration park by Yangqu County Agricultural Demonstration Zone Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Greenport using the investment, design, procurement, construction and operation integration (EPCO) model. The project is located in Sixi Village, Nitun Town, covering an area of about 809 acres with a total investment of about 410 million yuan. The construction includes a display-type intelligent glass greenhouse of 9450 square meters, a planting intelligent glass greenhouse of 95940 square meters, a planting greenhouse of 88080 square meters, a new prefabricated insulation arch of about 84982 square meters, a new prefabricated solar greenhouse of about 33390 square meters, a seedling greenhouse of 30368 square meters, a seedling center of 2304 square meters, a control center, a sorting, packaging and processing logistics center of 9432 square meters, and a coconut bran processing center of 1728 square meters.
The project adopts the 1+X industrial development model and uses high-tech soilless cultivation technology to achieve the transformation and upgrading of vegetable industry in Yangqu and Taiyuan areas. It is divided into six functional areas, such as smart agricultural production, factory seedling breeding, high-tech demonstration display and sightseeing picking, family farm mode demonstration, automatic sorting and packaging, and new farmer training, which have the characteristics of comprehensive technology leadership, low construction cost, high output efficiency, and strong radiation driving ability. The operating income of the project is mainly for the income of fine fruits and vegetables, fine fruits and vegetable seedlings, sightseeing picking and training, and the comprehensive annual income is expected to reach more than 88.4 million yuan, driving the employment of more than 200 people.
The project started construction in July 2021, as of November, the cumulative investment of 125 million yuan, is expected to be partially put into operation in October 2022, within three years to build a leading demonstration of modern agricultural science and technology demonstration project in the province.
