Sage W. recalled that at 1:15 p.m. that day, when she was taking the 995 Express route bus to York Mills station, the bus was stuck in the middle of the road due to heavy snow. It wasn't until 7:20 p.m. that the driver informed all passengers that they had better hike to their respective destinations.

All passengers were stranded in the car for more than 6 hours that day due to heavy snowfall. To Sage's particular surprise, someone brought warmth to her and the other passengers during such a difficult time.

"After being stranded for 3 hours on the bus I was riding, this lovely family showed up. They brought free coffee and biscuits to everyone in the car. I'm really in tears right now. The kindness of some people is so touching," Sage said.

She said the family came to the bus at 4 p.m. that day and brought free coffee and food to everyone in the car. When the people in the car heard them coming to deliver free food, most of them stood up and lined up.

Sage also said the family not only delivered food to the bus, but also to nearby truckloads of stranded passengers. She said that while being trapped in such cold weather, the kindness of these people moved her to tears.

"I didn't exaggerate in the slightest, but this is the first time I've personally experienced someone doing it in Toronto," Sage says. "I was really touched to see this family helping strangers with their hard-earned money."

Sage also said that at 6 p.m. that night, the family returned to her bus for the second time to bring more coffee and water to people.

At Sage's request, she took pictures of the family and described them as "so kind." Sage got out of the car and walked in the snow for 35 minutes before finding a taxi to take her home.
