"It used to be overgrown with weeds and bare loess, but now flowers and trees have been planted, and rest tables and chairs have been provided, and people have a good place to go out and exercise." The speaker was Mr. Liu, who lives in the Jinfeng Yipin Community in the urban area of Jinzhong City. Near his community, it was originally a deserted land, since October 2021, under the planning and construction of Jinzhong City, this wasteland has not only planted green plants, but also fitness equipment, and people have enjoyed the benefits of exercising and relaxing at the doorstep of their homes.
A corner of the street is transformed into a green amusement park, which is not unique in Jinzhong City. Jinzhong City proposed the "six transformations and one promotion" of urban management: incense, greening, beautification, purification, culture, refinement and improvement of the happiness index project of the masses, through the revitalization of land resources in the city, starting from the small things of the people's livelihood around the people, so that the sense of happiness is "visible and within reach".
"Pushing the window to see the green" and "seeing the seam and inserting the green" have become the real sense of gain of the local people. On the corner of the urban area of Jinzhong City, there is an idle land after the demolition of the sound factory, which has not been managed for many years. In order to implement the actual affairs of the masses and increase the number of parks and green spaces around the masses, under the arrangement of the Jinzhong Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the Jinzhong Municipal Administration Bureau transformed this idle land covering an area of 8,000 square meters into a street garden through specialization and functional transformation. The new park not only retains the original greenery and pavilion buildings, but also repairs the damaged inner path and greens the bare plots.
It is worth mentioning that the newly planted green plants in the park are trees with high ornamental value and conducive to plant landscaping cultivated by the Jinzhong City Landscaping Service Center, and the small plant spacing configuration is carried out, giving people a feeling of wandering among them and crossing the flowers.
"The 'Pocket Park' is not only close to home, but also has a good environment, both to exercise and make friends." Ms. Li, who lives near the site of the original sound factory, said.
Small and fine is the characteristic of the street garden, adding rest seats and fitness equipment in the park, and allocating green parking spaces to add a practical core to the park. As of January 13, 2022, Jinzhong City has completed 25 landscaping improvements, about 17,800 square meters, accelerating the realization of the urban planning of "300 meters to see green, 500 meters to see the garden".
In addition to "adding green" and "expanding green", Jinzhong City has put the solution of the problem of "parking difficulties" of the people on the agenda by revitalizing land resources, and has built a number of "free government parking lots" by inserting needles and needles.

The eye-catching "Government Free Parking" sign attracted many private car owners to park, and only a few empty spaces were left in the parking lot.
According to the survey, there are 212,000 motor vehicles in the urban area of Jinzhong City, while there are only about 180,000 parking spaces in the city, and the demand for parking spaces is very strong.
Du Wenming, head of the municipal section of the Jinzhong City Administration Bureau, told reporters that the land for the construction of free government parking mainly includes land that the government has collected and stored and has not yet used; project land that developers have not started for the time being; land under the vacant land of vacated government units and vacant land for enterprises that have been idle for a long time. Among them, for the land that the government has collected and stored and has not yet been used and the project land that the developer has temporarily not started, the Jinzhong City Administration Bureau will sign a gratuitous occupation agreement with the relevant units, and when the project needs to resume construction, the land will be returned.
With the land for the construction of free parking spaces, how to further enhance the satisfaction of the masses with the parking problem? The staff of jinzhong city administration bureau found in the field visit that in the early construction of the city, the height of some sidewalks was usually 15 centimeters above the ground, and there were fewer barrier-free passages, which made many private car owners can only "look at the position and sigh".
It is necessary to lower the height of the side stones and raise the satisfaction of the masses. According to the requirements of the "Six Modernizations and One Upgrading" project, the Jinzhong City Administration Bureau partially emptied the foundation under the original side stones, reduced the height of the side stones on the side of the road, and chiseled and paved the sidewalk bricks according to the slope, realizing the change of the side stones on the side of the road from 15 cm to 3 cm.
For those along the road with the sharp corners of the tree pond, the Jinzhong City Administration Bureau also carried out special treatment. "Although the change of 10 centimeters is small, it has brought great convenience to the masses." Mr. Wang, who lives in the Guiyuan Community of Jinzhong City, said that after the open space in front of his home has become a free government parking lot, it is much easier to park at home from work, and the sidewalk is more smooth than before. It is understood that at present, there are 52 parking lots in the urban area of Jinzhong City that are free to the public, and a total of 5,090 new parking spaces have been added.
