Hi Friends of China!
I'm Sari Rantanen,
A photographer from Finland.
(Note: Sari is well known in Finland,
Serving several interior design magazines)
I'm an old member of the North Society.
Helplessly, I am too busy at work,
Sorry I didn't have time
Take everyone around my house.
Take advantage of the Christmas and New Year holidays,
Finally made up the manuscript!
My family lives in Salo,
It is located on the southwest coast of Finland.
After living overseas for ten years,
We bought it in 2010
The house where I live now,
The family moved back to China,
Honestly be a Finn.
My house is wooden,
Detached villa, two floors,
It is a second-hand house built in 2003.
The total area of the use is 147 square meters,
There are four bedrooms, a living room,
Dining area, kitchen, laundry,
There are also two bathrooms and a sauna.
There is a big yard outside the house,
The flowers and grass inside were contracted
My husband and I have weekends and holidays
Most of the time.
It is also strange to say,
We Finns are like
Most of the people love gardening,
My family and friends are like this,
Would love to spend time outdoors,
With plants and soil,
Year after year, enjoy it!
The living room and the courtyard room are one
Very comfortable and functional large terrace,
The whole is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors.
I put a lot of thought into decorating the terrace,
When the weather is clear, eat snacks and drink tea,
I read here on a rainy day
While listening to the raindrops crashing on the glass,
When it snows, I wrap myself in a blanket and light a candle,
Chatting with a hot coffee,
Hands warmer and heart warmer!
It's so cold.
He rolled up his blanket and ran into the house.
My cat, Lumi, never leaves the house.
(Note: Finnish means "snow")
Walk to the glass edge of the terrace
I'll never step on my legs again.
Interestingly,
She seems unwilling to be a "housewife",
I always like to run to the terrace,
One stop there is half a day!
Especially in the summer,
Butterfly flying insects in the yard,
And the birds that occasionally fall on the treetops,
Would have drawn her to the terrace window.
When we were working in the yard,
Lumi will also be there watching,
It's like a little overseer.
My husband is always joking,
He said he should make a cup of tea for the overseer.
I'm a professional photographer.
Usually work is very busy,
Also often travel continuously,
Fortunately, every weekend
Basically, I can go home.
For me,
Home is the place to relax.
I like the combination of old and new home,
There are many things in the house
Flea market and antique shop
Old goods.
I don't deliberately follow the trend of home,
The ones at home are what you like,
It may seem a bit of a mix-and-match,
But that's pure
Sari Rantanen style!
As a photographer,
I work a lot with it
Home and architecture related,
Photograph someone else's beautiful home,
So that more people can see,
That's exactly what interests me!
Can turn interest into work,
What a lucky thing!
Tell you quietly,
I was planted by my own work...
After photographing a lot of old houses,
I fell in love with that
A leisurely and comfortable life.
I dream of having it now
An old house of its own,
Better to bring another farm...
Hey, we have a lot of members in the North Society
It's the old house.
What an envy!
