The "Declaration of the First National Congress of the Chinese Kuomintang" deliberated and adopted by the congress made a new interpretation of the Three People's Principles, that is, the "New Three People's Principles," which are consistent with some basic principles of the political program of the Communist Party of China in the stage of the democratic revolution and have become the political basis for cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.

The Kuomintang, in fact, established the three major revolutionary policies of uniting with Russia, the United Communist Party, and supporting peasants and workers, marking the formal formation of the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. This is a major victory for the Communist Party of China in practicing the program of democratic revolution and the policy of the democratic united front.
