In February this year, the Taohuadao community of Qinduankou Street in Hanyang District introduced the social work team of the Early Morning Innovation Service Center, which regularly carried out free services such as visiting special groups and providing residents with mental health knowledge and rehabilitation consultation, so that residents could enjoy high-quality health services without leaving home.
In order to further implement the work of the community rehabilitation project for mental disorders, on February 10, the relevant staff of the Hanyang District Civil Affairs Bureau and the Public Service Office of Qinduankou Street came to Taohuadao Community to learn about the work of the community rehabilitation project for mental disorders in Qinduankou Street, Hanyang District, and the progress of the project.
The Jimu News reporter learned during the follow-up interview that after the community rehabilitation project for mental disorders in Qinduankou Street landed in the Taohuadao community, with the goal of building a street-level community rehabilitation service position, using the existing party and group service station places in the community, combined with the characteristics of human geography, to create four service areas: science popularization area, reading area, activity area and office area.
In the service area, community residents can learn about mental health, and rehabilitation and family members can also enjoy social skills training, group activities, family support meetings, listening for one hour and other rehabilitation services. "I came here as soon as I had time, learned a lot about health, and it was convenient for me to communicate with everyone." Aunt Wang, a resident of the community, said.
Recently, the project team has carried out televised visits, household visits, and demand surveys for nearly 50 recovered people and their families in Qindukou Street to understand the home situation and needs of the recovered people. In the later stage, the project team will continue to fully cover the situation of mentally disabled people in Qinduankou Street, complete the three lists of "needs, problems and resources" of the project, and carry out hierarchical management of the service population, and will cooperate with the "heart-warming activities" of the Taohuadao community to dock with party member volunteers and carry out community rehabilitation services in combination with the current situation and needs of the service groups.
In the next step, the "Red Health Station" in Taohuadao Community will combine heart-warming activities to guide multiple parties to participate in the joint participation of sinking party member volunteers and doctors in the jurisdiction, provide professional comprehensive mental health services, and create a red health station that is "close to the masses, complete in service, and caring".
