Yan Xiaojun's team has obtained 16 large yellow croakers from Xiangshan for experimental samples. "The most scientific catch for yellow croaker should be 70,000 tons per year, so that the balance can be maintained." He said that in the 1970s, due to a large number of round-ups - and even thousands of fishing boats "hunting" together, 140,000 tons were caught a year, resulting in the endangerment of fish species. It took decades of effort to recover.
