Chinese political resolution of the Fifth Session of the Twelfth Hunan Provincial Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference

The Fifth Session of the 12th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese Political Consultative Conference was held in Changsha from January 16 to 19, 2022.

Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the Hunan Provincial CPC Committee, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee and governor of Hunan Province, and other leading comrades attended the meeting, listened to the speeches at the meeting, participated in the joint group discussions, and discussed with the committee members the overall plan for reform and development. In his speech at the joint group meeting, Secretary Zhang Qingwei fully affirmed the work of the CPPCC and the actions of CPPCC members, and demanded that political construction be grasped more firmly, the overall situation of service be implemented more concretely, the performance of duties for the people be done better, and the contingent of CPPCC members should be built stronger. The meeting deliberated and approved the work report made by Comrade Li Weiwei on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and deliberated and approved the report on the work of motions made by Comrade Zhang Zhuohua on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The meeting elected Comrades Wu Lan and Huang Lanxiang as vice chairmen of the 12th Provincial CPPCC Committee, and 10 comrades, including Liu Shiqing and Su Jianjian, as standing members of the 12th Provincial CPPCC Committee. The committee members attended the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth Provincial People's Congress as observers, listened to and consulted the work report of the provincial government, consulted and discussed the work report of the provincial "two courts" and other reports, expressed their approval of the above report, and actively made suggestions and suggestions to build consensus extensively.

The meeting held that 2021 is a milestone year in the history of the party and the country, and the Communist Party of China has united and led the people of the whole country to achieve the first centenary goal through continuous struggle, build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way on the land of China, and open a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country and marching toward the second centenary goal. The Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China summed up the major achievements and historical experience of the Party's century-long struggle, issued a political declaration on chinese communists in the new era to remember their original mission and uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, and provided an action guide for taking history as a mirror, creating the future, and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The meeting held that in the past year, under the strong leadership of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the whole province has actively and effectively responded to difficulties and challenges, achieved remarkable results in coordinating epidemic prevention and control and economic development, built a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, and achieved a good start in the "14th Five-Year Plan". The 12th Provincial Party Congress was successfully held, sounding the clarion call for comprehensively implementing the strategic positioning and mission of "three highs and four new", vigorously promoting high-quality development, and comprehensively building a socialist modern new Hunan.

The meeting held that in the past year, the Provincial CPPCC Committee has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, drawn the strength to forge ahead from the party's major achievements and historical experience in the past century, continuously strengthened the construction of special consultative bodies, and strived to serve "Hunan With the power of the CPPCC" and enhance the "blessing of the people's livelihood" with the "strength of the members", making due contributions to the economic and social development of our province.

The meeting stressed that 2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the beginning of the comprehensive implementation of the spirit of the 12th Provincial Party Congress. The Provincial CPPCC Committee should hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply study and implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and the 19th Plenary Session, focus on the major decisions and deployments of the 12th Provincial Party Congress, focus on making suggestions and consolidating consensus, and extensively unite efforts for the comprehensive construction of a new socialist modern Hunan. Continue to strengthen theoretical armament, strengthen ideological and political guidance, more loyally support the "two establishments" and resolutely achieve "two safeguards"; focus on the comprehensive implementation of the "three highs and four new" strategic positioning and mission tasks, deeply carry out the theme activity of "pooling wisdom and pooling forces to promote high-quality development" to promote the stable and healthy development of the economy; deepen the construction and application of the committee's studio and the "three micro" linkage of micro-suggestions, micro-consultation, and micro-supervision, and more diligently help solve the problem of the masses' "urgent difficulties and anxieties"; strengthen party cooperation and work together. Strengthen unity and friendship and propaganda and ideological work, gather positive energy for development; promote the deep integration of the CPPCC cloud and the CPPCC performance of duties, give full play to the role of CPPCC consultation in the development of people's democracy in the whole process, and promote the extensive and multi-layered institutionalized development of consultative democracy.

The meeting called on CPPCC organizations at all levels in the province, cppcc participating units and the vast number of CPPCC members to unite more closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, and under the strong leadership of the HUNAN Provincial CPC Committee, unite as one, move forward with courage and determination, strive to build a new socialist modernization in an all-round way, and greet the victory of the 20th CPC National Congress with excellent results!
