On the morning of January 20, the fifth session of the 13th People's Congress of Yunnan Province was grandly opened in Kunming's Yunnan Haigeng Hall. Wang Yubo, deputy secretary of the Yunnan Provincial CPC Committee and governor of Yunnan Province, made a report on the work of the government.

The conference has a total of 8 agenda items: first, to hear and deliberate the work report of the people's government of Yunnan Province; second, to review and approve the report of the provincial people's government on the implementation of the 2021 national economic and social development plan of Yunnan Province and the draft national economic and social development plan for 2022, and to approve the 2022 national economic and social development plan of Yunnan Province; the third is to review and approve the report of the provincial people's government on the implementation of the 2021 local financial budget of Yunnan Province and the draft local financial budget for 2022. Approve the 2022 provincial financial budget of Yunnan Province; fourth, review the "Yunnan Provincial Soil Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations (Draft)"; fifth, hear and deliberate the work report of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial People's Congress; sixth, hear and deliberate the work report of the Yunnan Provincial High People's Court; seventh, hear and deliberate the work report of the Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate; and eighth, elect and other matters.
