The Year of the Tiger is imminent, in order to enhance the festive atmosphere during the Spring Festival, carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and enrich the public's spiritual and cultural life, on January 19, the "Tiger and Tiger Shengfu - Nonyin Tiger Year New Year Zodiac Joint Exhibition" met with the audience in the boutique exhibition hall of the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum.

The exhibition was jointly launched by the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, China Cultural Relics Newspaper and 50 cultural institutions across the country, and was pushed online and offline. In order to bring the audience a different visiting experience than before, the exhibition not only collects hundreds of cultural relics, specimens and pictures of artworks for display, but also selects 28 cultural relics, specimens and artworks with "tiger" elements in the collection of the Provincial Museum and the Provincial Museum of Nationalities, showing the unique image of the tiger in the natural world, history and culture and works of art from multiple angles, presenting a diverse zodiac culture, reflecting the national spirit of the Chinese nation's diligence, bravery and self-improvement. It also contains rich practical significance and value such as natural ecological protection. It is worth mentioning that the Provincial Museum actively plays the leading role of the Longtou Museum, sharing exhibition resources for dozens of units in the "Heilongjiang Museum Collaborative Development Alliance" for the first time, sending the exhibition to museums, communities, villages and campuses, and providing a wonderful cultural feast for the people of the province on the occasion of retiring the old and welcoming the new.
The exhibition is divided into three parts: "Ten Thousand Years of Tiger Leaping - Tiger in the Natural World", "Tiger in the East - Tiger in History and Culture", and "Tiger Walking in the World - Tiger in Folk Life". In order to increase the interest and participation of the exhibition, in the exhibition hall, an electronic touch screen and group photo board supporting the exhibition are specially set up, and the audience can not only be in the same frame with the cultural relics, record the beautiful scenes of the New Year in the museum, but also learn more about the "tiger culture" through smart devices, enjoy the high-definition big picture or video of the cultural relics, or participate in the game interactive answering questions to challenge their knowledge.
