Trump Attorney General's Personal Memoirs: "One Broken Thing After Another"

According to the US "Capitol Hill" reported on the 18th, the book is titled "One Broken Thing After aNother: Memoirs of the Attorney General", "frankly telling the details of his service to two very different presidents." "In this memoir, Barr takes readers to the 1990s and tells them the behind-the-scenes story of events ranging from the Los Angeles riots to the Lockerbie disaster to the Iran-Gobind." The book also includes issues such as The Russian Door, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impeachment of the president during the Trump era. Of the book's title, Wall Street Journal reporter Gurman said it might be understood as "a tribute to World War II Attorney General Edward M. Gurman. H. Livay's Tribute", because when asked "how does the Attorney General work", his classic answer is: just one broken thing after another.

Born in 1950, Barr served as attorney general in the bush administration. In February 2019, he was appointed attorney general by Trump and won Trump's trust and support in a very short time, being called Trump's "close comrades-in-arms". However, in late 2020, Barr and Trump had a dispute over "election fraud", and the two parted ways, and Barr subsequently resigned in mid-December of that year.
