Britney Spears is taking action.
The 40-year-old pop star and her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, have taken legal action against her father, Jamie Lynn, as court battles over her 13 years of custody continue.
Fox News Digital received a stop letter from Rosengart sent to Jamie Lynn on Monday telling her to "stop and stop disparaging little donuts in your campaign." If you don't do this or slander her, Donut will be forced to consider and take all appropriate legal action. The singer is currently promoting her upcoming book "Things I Should Say."
"We hesitate because the last thing Britney wants to do is get people to pay more attention to your anachronistic book and its misleading or outrageous claims about her," the letter continues.

Rosengart added that his client had no intention of reading the book but was shocked that Jamie Lynn "used her for monetary gain."
"She won't tolerate it, and neither should she," the lawyer said.
He continued: "Everyone knows about the abuse and wrongdoing that Britney had to endure during her time in custody as he originally grew up with a 'hateful' alcoholic father. ”

In addition, TMZ cites court documents that Spears demanded the return to her millions of dollars her father earned during custody — documents that say Jamie made $6 million during his legal custody.

According to the documents, some of the $6 million Jamie earned was used to promote a TV show called "Cookin' Cruzin' & Chaos." In addition, Jamie is accused of paying for converting a tour bus into a food truck to help him sell the show.
