According to his explanation to netizens, he first took pictures because he wanted to make a video and review his study life every day for several years when he graduated.

After he learned about NFT, he wanted to try selling these photos of himself online. In December 2021, he uploaded a photo for sale on a platform called Opensea. The photos didn't get immediate attention. Until the other day, an Indonesian celebrity chef bought a few photos and promoted it for him. Soon, more than 400 people rushed to buy it like a flood. As demand soared, so did the price of the "Gosari Everyday" series. On Jan. 14, the price of a selfie rose to $806, and some of the photos even sold for $3,000. As of now, gosari's income from nearly a thousand photos has reached 355 ethers worth more than $1 million.
Such success was unanticipated by Gosali himself. He told the media that he just thought it was fun to try it on the platform, but "I never thought anyone would really want to buy these selfies, which is why I only put up a price of $3." ”
