Romano: Newcastle negotiated a contract with Diego Carlos, but Sevilla was not satisfied with the 35 million euros offer

According to Italian journalist Romano, Newcastle has agreed on personal terms with Sevilla centre-back Diego Carlos, but their €35 million offer has not met Sevilla's psychological expectations.

Romano pointed out that the transfer operation of the new card winter window to introduce Diego Carlos has made good progress, and they have agreed with the players on a five-year contract.

But Sevilla's stance is very firm, they will not let go of the 28-year-old Brazilian centre-back if they do not receive an important offer, Newcastle's 35 million euro offer does not satisfy Sevilla, and the two sides are still in talks.

So far this season, Diego Carlos has played 28 games for Sevilla, scoring two goals and playing 2,504 minutes.
