Reporter: Newcastle offered Diego Carlos 3 times his salary, but the 30 million euros offer did not impress Sever

According to reporter Guillem Balague, Newcastle offered Diego Carlos for 30 million euros, but Sevilla needs to receive an offer of close to 60 million euros before it is willing to release people.

According to previous media reports, Newcastle is interested in bringing in Sevilla centre-back Diego Carlos in the winter window and has negotiated personal terms with the players.

Guillem Balague further pointed out that Newcastle has paid three times the salary of Diego Carlos and the players are willing to join, but the 30 million euro transfer fee offer can not impress Sevilla, and if Sevilla wants to release, Newcastle needs to give at least twice the offer, while the termination fee in the Diego Carlos contract is 85 million euros.

Diego Carlos' contract with Sevilla expires in 2024 and he has made 28 appearances so far this season, scoring two goals and playing 2,504 minutes.
