Zhang Manzi, the world's most authoritative Drucker scholar for 25 years, the only doctoral disciple, began to speak

author:Silicon Valley Hi-Tech Acceleration Camp

In today's digital economy, the fierce turmoil of the business environment, and the frequent occurrence of industry disruption and reshuffle, enterprises are more confused about their own development direction. In the face of future uncertainty, how can companies achieve innovation, breakthrough and change? How do you set the right direction to build your mission, vision, purpose, culture and values that support your sustainable growth?

Peter F. Drucker, the father of modern management and one of the masters of management, Drucker) proposed in the book "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" that enterprise innovation = innovation choice + innovation management + innovation strategy.

He believes that whether it is large or small business, whether it is the business community, non-profit institutions or governments, there are opportunities for innovation everywhere, and everyone can become an entrepreneur. Innovation is a basic function of the organization, an important responsibility of the manager, and he is a practical work with rules to follow. Innovation does not require genius, but it requires training; it does not require a flash of inspiration, but it needs to observe "discipline" (the principles and conditions of innovation).

As a writer, teacher, consultant, and unrivalled master of management, Drucker's theories have influenced government, non-profits, and many other well-known corporations, including Edward Jones, General Electric, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Intel, Girl Scouts, and many more. Mr. Drucker taught at Claremont Graduate University from 1971 to 2003 until his death two years later at the age of 95. Mr. Drucker's name is internationally renowned because his management philosophy is not only theoretically thorough, but also proven to be effective and can make a lasting difference to everyone in the company.

Professor Bernie Jaworski is one of the most well-known authoritative scholars of Drucker thought internationally (there is none) and a Drucker Chair Professor at the Drucker School of Management in the United States. As Bernie Jaworski's only phD student for 25 years, Virginia Cheung is now an associate researcher at Shenzhen University and holds a Ph.D. in management from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.

Virginia Cheung's research interests include the integration of Eastern and Western management ideas in leadership, management, and functional societies. He has long studied the comparison of non-traditional management ideas and research methods, with special attention to the application of these management ideas in cross-cultural environments. Current research focuses on the relationship between Drucker management and Confucianism. Virginia Cheung has extensive industry practice experience in large multinational institutions in Greater China and Germany, and has also served as a board member for Chinese big data startups and was an adjunct professor at Beijing Jiaotong University.

Virginia Cheung once shared Drucker's management ideas, she mentioned: through the integration of Drucker's modern management theories and best practices to continuously provide a source of power for the improvement of enterprise management, combined with the pain points of enterprise management to upgrade and reconstruct its purpose, mission, vision, and dig deep into corporate culture and value.

In response to topics such as "innovation is manageable", "the purpose of innovation", "shaping China's enterprise innovation culture", and "common misunderstandings in innovation practice", Lei Hong, founder and CEO of Silicon Valley High-tech Innovation Association, and Zhang Manzi, ph.D. in management and associate researcher of Shenzhen University, will interpret it at 2 pm on Sunday (January 23) in the headline live broadcast room.
