On January 18, CATL released the overall solution of EVOGO (Lexing Power Exchange) and combined power exchange service brand. At the press conference, Chen Weifeng appeared as the general manager of Times Electric Service, according to him, Times Electric Service is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningde Times, committed to providing users with convenient and reliable mobile power solutions and services. The establishment of Times Electric Service also marks the completion of the closed loop of the whole life cycle value chain of batteries from research and development, manufacturing, use and recycling.
At this press conference, CATL focused on the overall solution of the combination of power exchange brand, which is composed of three major products of "power exchange block, quick change station and APP", of which the power exchange block is called chocolate power exchange block, which is a battery specially developed and mass produced for the realization of shared power exchange. Chocolate changer block has three characteristics: small and high energy, free combination, and minimalist design. Using the latest CTP technology of the Ningde era, the weight energy density of the replacement block exceeds 160Wh/kg, the volume energy density exceeds 325Wh/L, and a single battery can provide an endurance of about 200 kilometers, and can adapt to the pure electric platform developed by 80% of the world's 80% that have been listed and will be listed in the next 3 years.

The express change station has four characteristics: small area, fast circulation, large capacity and full climate. Each standard station only needs three parking spaces, a single block can be exchanged for about 1 minute, and 48 power exchange blocks can be stored in the station. At the same time, the substation can also be provided with versions adapted to the climatic and environmental conditions of different regions.
App assumes the role of a link between different modules and consumers, providing interconnection and services for people, vehicles, stations, and blocks. In the future, more and more functional modules will serve consumers through APP.
Based on the above-mentioned combined power exchange overall solution, the EVOGO brand has three major characteristics: one electricity and multiple vehicles, on-demand rental electricity, and rechargeable and exchangeable. Chen Weifeng said that the "chocolate exchange block" can be applied to passenger cars and logistics vehicles from A00 class to B class and C class. The substation can be adapted to various brand models that use "chocolate power exchange blocks", which breaks through the adaptation barriers between batteries and models, and realizes two full adaptation scenarios of "one electric vehicle and many vehicles".
In addition, consumers can freely choose the number of rented replacement blocks according to their own usage scenarios and habits, that is, "on-demand rental electricity". At the same time, the EVOGO combination power exchange solution can also be charged and replaced, and together with the existing home charge and fast charge, it constitutes a full-scenario energy replenishment method, bringing the freedom of power replenishment.

At the press conference, the first model using EVOGO power exchange solution - FAW Besturn NAT combination replacement version was unveiled, it is reported that FAW Besturn NAT power replacement version model as early as last September has started 2,000 units delivered in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province.
Before this conference, the Ningde era has made many moves in the field of power exchange. As early as August 2020, CATL took a stake in NIO's power exchange business company, which holds about 10.9% of the equity of Wuhan WEINENG Battery Asset Co., Ltd., making it the third largest shareholder of the latter. On August 20, 2021, CATL established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Times Electric Service Technology Co., Ltd., in Xiamen, Fujian Province, with business scope including sales of new energy vehicle power exchange facilities, battery leasing, centralized fast charging stations, etc. In September, the First Batch of Besturn NAT Replacement Plate Models jointly explored by CATL and FAW Besturn launched in Liaoyuan, Jilin Province.
On December 20, Times Electric Service set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Liaoyuan, Jilin Province, to lay out the regional power exchange business; on December 24, CATL signed an agreement with the Guizhou Provincial Government to cooperate in the construction of power exchange networks, according to which the two sides will cooperate in depth in the construction of new energy vehicle power exchange network facilities and promote the improvement of new energy vehicle power exchange capacity.
Judging from the above actions, the Ningde era has laid out the power exchange business in Jilin and Guizhou. CICC research report believes that after Jilin and Guizhou provinces, the power exchange business of the Ningde era will accelerate regional expansion, and is expected to take the lead in Fujian, Jiangsu, Sichuan and other advantageous regions, and quickly promote it nationwide.
Chen Weifeng said at the press conference that EVOGO will select ten cities to launch the first batch of power exchange services in the future, and will release more brands of power exchange models.
