Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality are one of the hottest keywords in 2021, and the reason why they have attracted much attention is the wide range of their industry influence. New energy vehicles

According to reports, the international environmental protection agency Greenpeace and the All-China Environmental Protection Federation jointly released a research report entitled "Transformation and Challenges - How the Transformation of Zero-Emission Vehicles Can Help China's Automotive Sector Carbon Peak and Carbon Emission Reduction". The report predicts that under the current policy scenario, the automotive industry is expected to peak carbon around 2027, with a peak of 1.746 billion tons. And if the auto industry is to be carbon neutral by 2060, zero-emission vehicles need to account for at least 63% of new cars sold by 2030.

Of course, this is only the part of the report that makes predictions, and from the actual situation, the entire industry is full of variables. Regardless of how the policy will change, for car companies, the realization of the "double carbon" goal still needs more efforts and faces many challenges. The report pointed out that some auto companies that have announced sales targets for zero-emission vehicles in China in 2030 have not reached the above sales ratio.
