Recently, the online car market obtained a set of Beijing Mercedes-Benz new GLC in the domestic road test spy photos, the new car will adopt a similar design to the C-class, the body looks more burly, the size is expected to be further extended, and the power is expected to be equipped with Mercedes-Benz's latest 1.5T engine.
The new GLC exterior is expected to be mainly athletic, with a single banner grille on the front face and an LED headlight cluster shape close to the C-class. The side shape of the new car is more square, the wide D-pillar also makes the visual effect of the whole vehicle more burly, the overall contour of the rear of the car does not change much, the adjustment of the details includes the shape of the license plate frame, and the LED light groups on both sides become more slender. In addition, with reference to the C-class, the new car does not rule out the introduction of the Haoye version of the model, and the body details such as chrome trim strips are blackened.
In terms of interior, the new GLC will also adopt the same design as the C class, creating a leading luxury and technology atmosphere in the same class. The center console of the new car is expected to use a variety of materials such as leather, wood and piano paint panels, equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument, an 11.9-inch central control screen and the latest MBUX system, and the rectangular air conditioning outlet with mood lights inside.
The C-class of the reference and new GRC with the platform has been fully lengthened in size, of which the wheelbase even exceeds the standard axle E-class sedan, and it is expected that the new GLC will also be greatly extended, and compared with the two core competitors of Audi Q5L and BMW X3, the advantages of the new car in terms of wheelbase will be further expanded. In terms of power, the new GLC is expected to be equipped with M254 series 1.5T and 2.0T engines, and the transmission system is matched with a 9AT gearbox, the former has a maximum power of 150kW and a peak torque of 300N·m, which is close to the level of the existing 2.0T low-power engine.
