On January 13th, the 7th Global Diplomats' Chinese Culture Night, with the theme of "Mutual Learning among Civilizations, People-to-People Bonds, Win-Win Cooperation, and Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind", ended perfectly in Beijing, with diplomats from more than 160 countries around the world attending the ceremony.
The Global Diplomats' Chinese Culture Night is a multilateral exchange platform connecting China and the world. The 7th Global Diplomat Chinese Culture Night continued to write a new chapter on the road of "mutual learning among civilizations, people-to-people communication, and win-win cooperation".
At this event, the "Fragrant Camellia Qinshu" Traditional Chinese Culture Living Art Exhibition curated by Taiyue Xiangxue bloomed brilliantly with the support of Oriental Sprinkling Art and Ya Appreciation and Listening to Incense. Luo Zijie, representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of "traditional incense making techniques", Zhang Chao, representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of traditional flower arrangement, and Liu Jianxin, Yang Jingdong, Shi Guohong, Luo Sining, Li Jian, Lu Xianru, Qian Bo, Wei Hongyan, Xi Yulan and Zheng Haiming, members of the Taiyue Xiangxue and Oriental Sprinkling Art team, jointly attended the event.
Chinese incense mats, Chinese tea banquets, Chinese flower arrangements, Chinese guqin, and Chinese study rooms are the quintessence of Chinese culture and one of the important traditional lifestyles; through the form of on-site theme exhibitions, it is an important way to show the world excellent traditional Chinese culture, which is an important embodiment of "mutual learning among civilizations" and an important way for diplomats from all over the world to understand Chinese culture at zero distance; Luo Zijie, curator of this traditional culture theme exhibition, introduced. The conference also set up a Chinese incense culture experience area, a traditional flower arrangement experience area, a guqin experience area, and a "global sharing, helping the Winter Olympics" diplomat signature area. Through live experience, diplomats' understanding and cognition of Chinese culture is enhanced, and at the same time, traditional Chinese culture is displayed in an all-round way; diplomats from many countries jointly sign the scroll to wish the Winter Olympics a successful event.
In this activity, Taiyue Xiangxue customized the olfactory recognition symbol with osmanthus as the main tone for the conference, so that the whole venue was filled with a faint aroma of orchid honey osmanthus flower. The "Harmony Technique" in traditional incense culture is an important traditional incense making technique, through the mixing and use of multi-flavored herbs, so as to achieve the expression of closeness to nature, harmony and unity between people and nature.
The ceremony kicked off with the solemn sound of the national anthem and ushered in the solemn ceremony of the handover of the Rotating President, and the new Chairman-in-Office of Malta in 2022, His Excellency Mr. Zhuo Jiaying, The New Chairman-in-Office of Malta to China, delivered a warm speech. The "China Brand Internationalization Alliance" was officially launched, and the "2022 LOOKWE Global Diplomacy Golden Swallow Award" was successfully awarded; the ambassadors and ladies who were elegant, independent, happy and righteous were used as a metaphor for their contributions to global diplomacy and cultural exchanges. The inaugural LOOKWE Golden Swallow Award for Global Diplomacy was won by the wife of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to China, the wife of the Ambassador of Jordan to China, the wife of the Ambassador of Pakistan to China, the wife of the Ambassador of Indonesia to China, the wife of the Ambassador of Samoa to China and the wife of the Ambassador of Slovakia to China, demonstrating the sincerity of China and the world in hand.
