However, when I bought a car not long ago, I was suffering from difficulty in choosing, and I didn't know how to choose between Auchan X5 and Wuling Star. After many comparisons, I chose the latter. As a young person, choosing a car certainly looks at the appearance
Although the first batch of post-90s has begun to "run three", many people are still "face value", such as me, I attach great importance to the appearance design of the vehicle. If I want to pay for it, the appearance design of Auchan X5 and Wuling Stars is good enough.
When I first saw the Auchan X5, I thought this SUV looked personal enough, the polygonal style grille with the narrow headlight group had a fairly good recognition, and the aura was also strong.
The body design of the long hood and short rear of the car allows this SUV to have the body posture of a coupe SUV, which I personally think is still relatively good-looking.
I have to admit that the appearance of Auchan X5 makes me a little moved; can the appearance design of Wuling Star impress me?
Frankly speaking, the exterior design of Wuling Star broke my inherent impression of Wuling Car, and the better paint texture of the whole car and the silver LOGO on the front face made me think that this SUV looked more classy.
Moreover, the side design of Wuling Star is not inferior to auchan X5: the full side profile, with the C-pillar of the suspension design, appears to be more dynamic.
In addition, the color I chose to rain over azure is also more oriental, which is relatively rare in other models and is indeed unique.
In contrast to the performance of space, comfort is key
An important reason why I chose the SUV model is that I care about the spatial performance of the vehicle, and I think that the spatial performance of the same SUV will generally be better than that of the same level of sedan model. What about auchan X5 and Wuling Star, the two SUVs, which SUV can better meet my needs?
In terms of body size, the length/width/height of the Auchan X5 is 4490/1860/1580mm, and the wheelbase is 2710mm; it is not very good, but after I actually sat, I found that the front and rear passengers can still have more head space and legroom.
At the same time, the SUV's integrated sports seats have a nice wrapping and softness, but it is a pity to me that the middle seats in the rear of the vehicle are not equipped with headrests.
The length/width/height of Wuling Xingchen is 4594/1820/1740mm, and the wheelbase is 2750mm; in addition to the width, the rest of the body size is larger than the former. And according to my actual riding experience, the interior space of Wuling Star is indeed more spacious than auchan X5.
In addition, the comfort of the Wuling Star seat is not inferior to that of auchan X5, and the rear seats also support multi-angle adjustment, and I can even rest in a half-lying posture, which is more comfortable.
Both are equipped with 1.5T engines, which SUV is better?
Speaking from the heart, from the perspective of spatial performance, I personally prefer the five stars. But I don't want to make such a hasty decision, after all, I still have to test drive, and comparing the dynamic performance of these two SUVs, I can make a final judgment.
Both SUVs are powered by 1.5T turbocharged engines, with the Auchan X5 with a maximum output of 180 horsepower and a peak torque of 300N·m; and the maximum output of Wuling Star is 147 horsepower and the maximum output torque is 250N·m. Only from the book data, the power performance of Wuling Star is indeed weaker.
However, I found that in actual driving, the acceleration performance of Wuling Star was not inferior to that of Auchan X5, and the power was basically on call. It should be noted that these two SUVs are more inclined to daily walking, and the power reserve is relatively sufficient.
In addition, what I did not expect was that Wuling Star was equipped with the only FSD variable damping damping damper in the same class, and thanks to this configuration, I found that this SUV can be adjusted to the best state in different road conditions, and I am more comfortable driving.

In my opinion, whether it is Changan Auchan X5 or Wuling Xingchen, it is called an excellent self-owned brand SUV model; so when I first bought a car, I had a hard time choosing. However, with the deepening of understanding and in-depth comparison, I found that Wuling Xingchen will be slightly better in terms of spatial performance and driving experience, which is more in line with my car habits. Coupled with the fact that the price of Wuling Star is really affordable, it is natural for me to choose this SUV.
