A robotics company called Primus May Change All That. On January 12, we visited Bozhilin as a small reporter from Nandu and learned about their construction robots. The robot can spray one side of the exterior wall of a building a day, while the worker needs 10 days; the robot can carry 20 inner wall panels an hour, while 3 workers can lift 8 pieces an hour; the robot can complete the floor cleaning of 200 square meters in one hour, and sweep the top manually 20 times. In addition, the robot is also equipped with a robot dog base that can freely go up and down stairs and flip backflips, sensors that can automatically avoid obstacles, accurately measured site maps, and even equipped with a vacuuming system. All this makes people feel that robots are really much better than humans! Some of these robots require human cooperation, and the use of these robots can save about 80% of manpower. This means that most of the repetitive, mechanical work can be done by robots instead of humans, so where should the "liberated labor force" go?

This is not only a problem for the construction industry, nor is it a problem that has recently arisen. This question arose as early as the first industrial revolution in the West, is this the cost of technological development? In fact, people don't need to be too pessimistic. First of all, intelligent robots have greatly improved production efficiency and reduced costs, and people's living standards have not improved? For example, if Bo Zhilin's construction robots are used in large quantities, the cost is reduced, and the house price is reduced, more people can afford to buy a house. Secondly, the development of science and technology will bring new needs and create new industries, such as robot manufacturing and robot maintenance, which will become more and more vigorous. At the time of the Industrial Revolution, many craftsmen were indeed replaced by machines, but unemployment did not rise sharply, one of the reasons was that many workers switched to mining new industries such as coal and iron ore. The service area of Bozhilin is currently 7 million square meters, which is still a few days away from large-scale application, and the gradual development of science and technology should be adapted to the degree of comprehensive development of society. If we want to apply intelligent robots on a large scale, we must improve the level of education and culture of the whole people so that they can engage in more creative labor, so as to adapt to the development of science and technology.
