● National Bureau of Statistics: National online retail sales reached 130884 billion yuan in 2021
According to the data released by the website of the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2021, the national online retail sales 130884 billion yuan, an increase of 14.1% year-on-year. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods 108042 billion yuan, and the eating, wearing and using goods increased by 17.8%, 8.3% and 12.5% respectively.
●In 2021, Beijing Mobile has opened more than 27,000 5G base stations
Recently, Beijing Mobile announced that the 5G construction work in 2021 has been successfully concluded, exceeding the annual construction task. At present, more than 27,000 5G base stations have been built and opened in Beijing, which has achieved continuous coverage of urban and county areas, and townships and rural areas have basically achieved continuous coverage; important transportation hubs such as airports, stations, important roads and all Winter Olympic venues have achieved full 5G coverage.

The U.S. auction of 5G spectrum raised $22.5 billion, with AT&T spending the most
On January 17, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) auctioned off 5G spectrum in the 3.45GHz band, and AT&T became the highest-invested operator with $9 billion. This mid-band band is considered ideal for wireless companies to transmit faster 5G signals in cities and suburbs. The entire auction raised $22.5 billion, of which T-Mobile invested $2.9 billion and Weminuche LLC invested $7.3 billion. Some analysts believe Weminuche LLC is bidding on behalf of Dish, and the FCC documentation hints at this. U.S. Cellular invested $580 million. The FCC revealed that more than a third of the top 100 markets have at least 4 bidders, which is wider than the previous competitors.

On January 5, the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China issued the fourth batch of recommended national standard revision project plans in 2021, and three national standards, including the "Guidelines for monitoring and analyzing industrial Internet platforms" (20214997-T-339), "Evaluation Methods for Industrial Internet Platform Service Providers" (20214994-T-339), and "Classification and Coding of Industrial Internet Platform Solutions" (20214998-T-339), promoted by the Department of Information Technology Development, were officially approved. Also approved is the national standard for the Classification of Digital Simulation in manufacturing (20214484-T-339).
