The U.S. Stock Research Agency learned that according to the news of the chopping wood network, on January 17, according to foreign media reports, Apple's AR/VR device is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated products this year, and there are a large number of rumors that it is about to debut. Apple news reporter Mark Gurman made more speculation about the device, including specifications, price and name.

Gurman had expected Apple's AR/VR devices to be "very expensive," but he didn't give specific data. Most analysts expect the product to be around $3,000, but Gurman believes the price won't be so outrageously high, just slightly above $2,000.
To justify his predictions, Gurman mentioned the device's specifications, which include dual CPUs, 8K screens, replaceable lenses, and development costs.
"I expect the device to come with two processors, one of which will have comparable performance to the MacBook Pro's M1 Pro," Gurman said. Add to that ultra-high resolution 8K panels, interchangeable lenses, and advanced audio technology, and the cost increases. Not to mention that Apple also has to recoup the cost of 7 years of internal development. I think the chip performance used in Apple's AR/VR devices will be comparable to that of the M1 Pro, which means it is better than the M1. The main reason Apple chose the M1 Pro over the M1 was not the processor speed, but the need for more advanced images. As we all know, the M1 only has an 8-core GPU, while the M1 Pro comes with 14 to 16 GPUs."
Gurman lists a variety of possibilities for Apple headsets, including Apple Vision, Apple Reality, Apple Sight/iSight, Apple Lens, Apple Goggles, and Apple AR, Apple VR, Apple XR, Apple MR, and Apple SR. He believes that Apple Horizons may be the most realistic name. It sounds futuristic, doesn't mention any particular technology or function, and has a sense of optimism. Aside from being a new visual medium, it doesn't put any labels on the product. The name Apple Reality is also justified, because VR and AR are the core technologies of this headset, and the real OS may be the name of the rOS operating system used by the device.
