The new WRC World Rally Championship 2022 season kicks off on 20-23 January in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The highlight of this year's race is not only the contest between the various teams, but also the competition between the new hybrid cars. After Hyundai recently unveiled the new i20 N WRC Hybrid rally car, the Ford M-Sport team also brought a new Puma Rally1 hybrid car.

As Ford's new WRC car, Ford Puma officially took over the Fiesta WRC car for the new season. Also in accordance with the WRC rules, this Ford Puma uses a tube town frame structure and uses a hybrid structure of fuel engine + electric motor to power the car. The electric motor provides a maximum of 134 hp, 180 Nm of torque output, and a battery capacity of 3.9Kw/h. The fuel engine continues to use a 1.6T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a power output of 380 horsepower and the use of biofuel to further reduce pollutant emissions; the combined horsepower output of the new car is 500 horsepower.

The new Season's Ford Puma WRC will be driven by Racing Driver Craig Craig Breen and Navigator Paul Nagle from Hyundai, as well as legendary driver Sebastian Loeb and Navigator Isabelle Galmic; and Adrian Fumo Adrien Fourmaux and Alexander Berger. Coria Alexandre Coria, Gus Greensmith and Jonas Andersson.
