In the power part, the new car will be equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 1.6T turbocharged four-cylinder engine + electric motor, which will provide an additional 100kW of power compared with the current i20 N, and the peak torque will be increased by 180N·m. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 3.9 kW·h, and in order to achieve the purpose of lightweighting, the battery pack shell will also be made of carbon fiber.
