In the era of fuel vehicles, the reason why domestic cars should compete with joint venture vehicles in terms of configuration, size and interior design. It is because the core technology of the three major parts is not as good as the joint venture car, and in terms of engine, although the domestic engine looks very high in thermal efficiency, it really depends on the highest thermal efficiency range, or it is far behind. To say performance, foreign brands of various high-power versions of the engine, and then to the domestic car 20 years may not be able to catch up. The gearbox gap is even greater, not only on the product, but also in the power matching. But the advent of hybrid systems solves several problems:
1, domestic cars no longer need to develop a comprehensive engine, hybrid engine in the low-speed power generation, high-speed direct drive, low-speed rise power, NVH control, fuel economy, are no longer a problem, the technical difficulty is greatly reduced.
2, hybrid special engine, the use of Atkinson cycle plus ultra-high compression ratio, you can have super high thermal efficiency, what thin combustion, variable compression ratio, variable cylinder, continuous variable timing and other technologies, all bypassed.
