This magical place, I discovered as early as 2012. It was a spring, in a small ravine in the forest, which attracted many people: shepherds with dry food, cattle, and lovers of nature culture, and of course all kinds of birds and animals.
The spring water flowed out and accumulated on nearby girders, turning year after year from a small puddle into an already rather spacious reservoir. Dense bushes, fallen trees, half submerged by this water, provide the birds with the safety they need, and as such, this place is very popular with birds throughout the region. Especially on dry summer days.
For 8 years, I have often gone there to take photos of the local residents, observe the changes here, and also relax my mind.
Well, I would like to show and tell some of the guests (referring to birds) of this water source that I managed to photograph there, telling about this magical place and the day in the life of the photo hunter.
In principle, I often see a squirrel there. There were a lot of hazelnuts and walnuts around, so she definitely wouldn't go hungry there. But it's not so easy for her to appear in my shots. These shells are not park squirrels that fall on your head for the seeds. I wanted to photograph her drinking water, and I chose a place several times, hoping to catch a shot of a squirrel drinking water here.
- It was here that I took many pictures of birds for the first time. They often fly to quench their thirst.
- What annoys you is a flock of jays. They are a lot, they are noisy but how beautiful they are. Especially when young jays grow up, they fly around the crowd and drink water by the stream.
- A large number of small birds nest near this watering hole, they learn to fly a little bit, and together with the big birds, they also fly to this magical place. This young robin is like that.
- Sometimes long-tailed also appear here. She is a very beautiful and alert bird.
- Beautiful blue finches. I even managed to take a series of pictures of blue bathing. The results are interesting.
- Well, the one who often scatters all the Forest Brothers to my side is Sparrowhawk.
Of course, this is far from the wide variety of birds that drink water there. At different times of the year, a variety of warblers, thrushes, woodpeckers, and many other birds are found there. But not every bird can be photographed as I wish.
