According to US media reports, a Disneyland in Florida has caught a total of 250 crocodiles in five years. Previously, there had been incidents in the park where children had been attacked and killed by crocodiles.
According to the New York Post reported on the 23rd, Disneyland in Florida cooperated with the local state wildlife agency and has cleared 250 alligators from Disneyland within 5 years. It is reported that for every crocodile caught, trappers can get $30 from Disney, plus the proceeds of selling crocodile skin and crocodile meat. Sapp, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, said most crocodiles taken away from Disneyland are euthanized and then sold for their skins and flesh.
In June 2016, a 2-year-old boy was killed by a crocodile in the lagoon of Disneyland. Since then, there have been three more crocodile attacks in Florida that have killed people, but there have been no related bites in Disneyland.
