Although Wang Yaqiao eventually died of betrayal by traitors, Dai Kasa has since quarreled with the British and has never been to Hong Kong again.
First, Chiang Kai-shek has not slept well in 6 years
Wang Yaqiao was the top killer on the beach during the Republic of China period, and was also one of the early members of the "Alliance Society". In his early years, he followed Sun Yat-sen in the revolution because his personality was more "extreme".
He always wanted to achieve political goals through "extraordinary means" and assassinations, but gradually became at odds with Sun Yat-sen, so he quit the League and ran to Shanghai to do it alone.
At the beginning, it was to set up the Anhui Hometown Association to help the workers from their hometown to fight grievances. Later, the members grew to more than 10,000 people, and the "Axe Gang" was established. With all the blood and the spirit of daring to fight hard, there is no foundation.
Around 1923, he helped Lu Xiaojia, the son of a local warlord, assassinate Xu Guoliang, the head of the Shanghai Police Department, and became famous in World War I, and later became the commander of the Zhejiang guerrilla column.
During that time, Wang Yaqiao also helped Dai Kasa, Hu Zongnan and others to be admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy, and even Jin Jinrong and Du Yuesheng did not dare to provoke him. In the early days of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wang Yaqiao had been assassinating Japanese and traitors.
In 1932, he sent assassins on the Huangpu River to "push torpedoes" to blow up Shirakawa Yoshinori's "Izumo ship", but was unsuccessful. Later, he contacted the righteous soldiers An Changhao and Yin Fengji, and successfully killed Shirakawa Yoshinori in a park in Shanghai, causing a sensation throughout China.
Chiang Kai-shek offered him many rewards for arrest, but they were all thrown away because he was so mysterious that few of his men had ever seen his true appearance. After the "918 Incident", the whole country attacked Zhang Xueliang. Wang Yaqiao once put explosive packages in front of Zhang Xueliang's residence to intimidate him, but did not attack him.
Some people say that Wang Yaqiaozhi did not assassinate Zhang Xueliang because he was worried that Chiang Kai-shek's brother Du Yuesheng would seek revenge on him. In fact, this is nonsense, Wang Yaqiao even dared to kill Chiang Kai-shek himself.
Wang Yaqiao felt that the northeast did not resist, and it was Chiang Kai-shek's order, so he could only attack old Chiang. The two assassinations of Chiang Kai-shek resulted in a false and unsuccessful assassination.
Wang Yaqiao frequently assassinated high-ranking officials and dignitaries, making all levels of the Kuomintang restless, and Chiang Kai-shek was even more cold sweaty on his face after reading Wang Yaqiao's information in detail.
Therefore, Chiang Kai-shek found Dai Kasa, pointed at his nose and scolded him, and asked him to arrest Wang Yaqiao and not keep his mouth alive. In the years when Wang Yaqiao was not caught, neither Chiang Kai-shek nor Dai Kasa slept soundly, and they had to check the doors and windows several times a night.
2. Dai Kasa Hong Kong trip and Wang Yaqiao ending
After Sun Fengming assassinated Wang Jingwei, the Military Command Bureau came and found that Wang Yaqiao was hiding in Hong Kong. So, Dai Kasa arrived in Hong Kong by plane, but he did not expect that Wang Yaqiao had already run to Guangxi.
In February 1936, Wang Yaqiao and his subordinates fled to Wuzhou, Guangxi, under the pseudonym Kuang Yingshu, and lived in Li Jishen's home. Wang Yaqiao, in his former capacity as the elder of the Alliance, was taken care of by local warlords.
In the past, he and Bai Chongxi also had a good relationship, so he chose to hide in Guangxi. But then he felt a change in Bai Chongxi's attitude, believing that it was no longer safe to live in Guangxi.
So, after staying for a few months, he suddenly told Li Jishen that he wanted to join the Communist Party. He also wrote a letter and a poem that Li Jishen sent to Yan'an.
After Li Jishen left, Yu Wanjun, the younger wife of Wang Yaqiao's former subordinate Yu Likui, suddenly came to Guangxi with her children. It turned out that after Wang Yaqiao left the port, his subordinate Yu Likui was captured by Dai Kasa and taken to Nanjing to be sentenced to capital punishment.
Wang Yaqiao felt that he had an obligation to take care of his brother's family and decided to meet Yu Wanjun and send her some living expenses. However, his subordinates advised him not to go by himself. Wang Yaqiao thought about it again and again, but still helped Yu Wanjun and the child arrange accommodation.
But he didn't know that this woman had already sold him for a hundred thousand pieces of ocean. On the evening of October 21, Yu Wanjun called Wang Yaqiao to her residence and said that there was something to discuss. Wang Yaqiao had no doubts and went alone.
Unexpectedly, as soon as I entered the door, I was shot and killed by the ambushed military command agents. The agents also cut off his face with a knife and sent him to Nanjing for credit. A generation of legendary kings of assassination, thus died in assassination.
Regarding Dai Kasa going to Hong Kong to hunt down and kill Wang Yaqiao, there was actually a historical public case. Legend has it that Dai Kasa's plane arrived in Hong Kong and was seized by the authorities.
Hong Kong was still in British hands, and Britain and the Republic of China were allies. The two countries are allied to fight against fascism together. So why did the British detain Dai Kasa?
One theory is that Wang Yaqiao's friends had contacts with high-level officials of the British authorities in Hong Kong. Wang Yaqiao learned in advance that Dai Kasa had flown to Hong Kong, and informed the Hong Kong police to temporarily detain Dai Kasa, which dragged on for three days. Three days later, by the time Dai Kasa was released, Wang Yaqiao had already fled.
The other way of saying it is even more legendary. It is said that Dai Kasa ran to Hong Kong not only to catch Wang Yaqiao, but also to hunt down another Kuomintang "black room" expert.
The third theory is because Dai Kasa had originally suppressed the traitors in Shanghai and assassinated the traitors and Japanese bank employees, so the Japanese instructed the Hong Kong and British authorities to detain him.
But for whatever reason, Dai Kasa was indeed imprisoned for three days. Since then, I have never set foot in Hong Kong for half a step. If it were not for Yu Wanjun's betrayal, Dai Kasa might not have been able to catch Wang Yaqiao for the rest of his life.
