From January 8th to 10th, the Seminar on the Development Strategy of the New Era of Wushu Ideological and Political Education in the Southern Sect and the "Fist Exercise" of Guangdong Mojiaquan and the "Tiger Crane Double Shaped Fist" Expert Discussion Meeting of Guangdong Hongquan were held in Huadu, Guangzhou. Under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, the conference was jointly organized by the Guangdong Ethnic Minority Sports Association, the Guangzhou Wushu Association, and the Guangzhou Lingnan Wushu Intangible Cultural Heritage Workstation. The meeting was co-chaired by Professor Li Zhaoxu and Head Coach Huang Jiangang. The experts and scholars attending the conference were all leaders in the field of intangible cultural heritage and southern martial arts in our province, Hongquan descendants and representative inheritors of provincial and municipal intangible cultural heritage, in addition, a number of effective young scholars, doctors and world champions of Southern Quan also participated in the seminar.
The meeting included the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects Mo Jiaquan "into the campus" of the fist exercise review, Guangdong Hongquan "Tiger Crane Double Shape Fist" development history and the third edition of the adaptation of the origin and rectification, "Tiger Crane Double Shape Fist (Third Edition)" video shooting and other three topics. Among them, the adaptation and rectification of "Hong fist of tiger crane double shaped fist" (the third edition) was presided over by Huang Jiangang, the leader of China's modern Southern Fist and the head coach of the Guangdong Provincial Martial Arts Team, and Li Jianming, the world champion of Southern Fist, cooperated with the demonstration, and interpreted one by one from the basis of adaptation, the principle of creation and compilation, and the characteristics of techniques.
The venue was full of highlights. Master Huang Dasheng, the 84-year-old guangdong Huang Feihong, the fifth generation of Hong quan in Guangdong Province, personally went on the scene to interpret the viewpoints and practice demonstrations; Dong Deqiang, former director of the Guangdong Wushu Sports Management Center and known as the "witness of the history of Guangdong Martial Arts", recounted the past and present life of Guangdong Nan quan; Liang Weiming, president and editor-in-chief of China Kung Fu Magazine, and Professor Chen Yaojia, a well-known and senior expert of Nanquan, all gave full affirmation and high hopes for the results of this adaptation; and the secretary general of the Guangzhou Wushu Association Huang Biao also gave high hopes to the promotion, dissemination and management work. He emphasized the importance and necessity of the standardization of Southern Fist in the "Six Advances in Martial Arts" work.
Lan Haihong, deputy director of the Guangdong Provincial Cultural Center, and Zhong Qian, director of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, have given a lot of experience to the work of protecting and inheriting the intangible cultural heritage of martial arts from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage, and also talked about the confusion encountered; Chen Zhonglie, a researcher of folklore expert of the Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences, excavated cultural self-confidence from the three aspects of the same root of people's culture, the same origin of folk customs, and the similarity of martial arts in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and helped the strategy of sports power Professor Song Junhua, director of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center of Sun Yat-sen University, analyzed the classic case of Bai Xianyong's adaptation of the Kunqu opera "Peony Pavilion" and interpreted it in a simple and in-depth manner.
Li Zhaoxu, president of the Guangdong Ethnic Minority Sports Association and professor at the Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education, said that the southern school of martial arts has played an indispensable role in the development of Chinese martial arts and is closely linked to the course and destiny of China's social development. Paying attention to educating people is the tradition and benchmark of the southern martial arts, Hong Quan as the first of guangdong's "five famous fists (Hong Liu Cai Li Mo)", Hong Quan "Three Treasures" of the "Tiger Crane Double Fist" is the foundation of modern Nan Quan, but also the spokesman of modern Nan Quan. He hoped that the research and reform of the "Tiger Crane Double Fist of Hong Fist" (the third edition) would press the "start button" for the development of the southern martial arts in the new era.
