Guangzhou, December 20 (Reporter Cheng Jingwei) The four-day 26th Autumn Guangzhou International Art Fair (referred to as the Guangzhou Art Fair) came to an end on the 20th, with a total transaction amount of 180 million yuan.

With the theme of "Focusing on Global Vision, Analyzing the Trend of Purchasing Collections, Reconstructing the Art Market, and Leading the Aesthetics of Life", this year's Guangzhou Art Fair has a site size of 20,000 square meters, nearly 100 art institutions and more than 500 artists participated, and more than 10,000 original works of art were exhibited.

In order to promote the recovery of art market transactions, enhance industry confidence, and bring more works transactions and potential customers to exhibitors, this year's Guangzhou Art Fair fully excavated more art lovers, collectors, investors and other groups to participate in the exhibition activities. On the first day of the expo, due to the epidemic situation, the audience admission flow was strictly controlled, but the amount of art transactions still made a certain breakthrough, and more than 30 million yuan of art was purchased.

This year's Guangzhou Art Fair specially organized a cultural and art dinner, inviting 100 entrepreneurs and nearly 300 artists to participate. "Artists need to concentrate on creating, but they also need to help Chinese culture go global through some exchange opportunities." Peng Wenbin, artistic director of Guangzhou Art Fair, said.

In addition, this year's Guangzhou Art Fair also invited more than 20 short video teams to conduct live broadcasts to sell paintings and auctions. At the live broadcast, the artists shared their works with the audience in front of the camera, and while obtaining a new communication experience, they also narrowed the distance with the audience.
