In the last year of the Sui Dynasty, when war was raging, Yuan Tiangang returned to his hometown and continued to live as a human bu gua. Dou Lu, the grandson of Taifu Douzi at that time, came to see Yuan Tiangang at the time of his death, and Yuan Tiangang said to him: You will definitely achieve your deeds in the future. Later, Dou Rail also made great contributions when Li Yuan rebelled against Sui, so he was given an official position. When Dou Lu was rewarding the favor, Yuan Tiangang said that although he was a military general, he could not kill too many people. Later, the Dou Rail Battlefield was killed, so it was affected by his career.
Before Yuan Tiangang became an official in the dynasty, a classic story also occurred. By chance, he came to Wu Zetian's house and looked at her brother and sister, and when it was Wu Zetian's turn, he said that if this was a woman, then he would become a son of heaven in the future. At that time, Wu Zetian was still young and was deliberately described as a man by his family, so Yuan Tiangang did not know the true difference of Wu Zetian. Later, this statement was also fulfilled, and Wu Zetian became a female emperor.
During the reign of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin learned of Yuan Tiangang's name, so he summoned him to the palace and became his own think tank. One day Li Shimin asked Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng to calculate the future for the Tang Dynasty together. Calculating the fortunes of the country is undoubtedly a very dangerous period, but they cannot refuse. In the end, the two completed the "Push Back Map", but Tang Taizong still did not let Go of Yuan Tiangang, and asked him when Tang Died, Yuan Tiangang gave the answer very cautiously, saying that it was when the pig went up the tree.
Tang Taizong listened to his words and understood this to mean that pigs cannot go up trees, so Tang will not die one day. Of course, this sentence expression is not the superficial meaning, in fact, the pig and the tree represent the Zhu surname and the Li surname respectively, Li has the meaning of deciduous trees, so it is a tree, then it means that there will be a Zhu surname that will lead to the demise of the Tang Dynasty. Later, Zhu Wen usurped The Tang dynasty and made the Tang dynasty a complete history, which also fulfilled this speculation, but Li Shimin did not really understand it at that time.
