The rulers of the Qing Dynasty were not fools, and they knew that if they could not win the hearts and minds of the people, then their rule would not last long.
Therefore, they abandoned their previous national name gold and changed it to "Qing". So why did they choose the word "qing"? Here's why. The word "清" was chosen in the Chinese characters, because the word Qing is in harmony with the Manchu word jin.
