Recently, Zhen drive Technology and the global automotive and industrial products supplier Schaeffler Group held an investment and strategic agreement signing ceremony in Shanghai.
According to the cooperation agreement, Zhen Drive Technology and Schaeffler will further deepen their strategic cooperation in the field of electric drives for new energy vehicles, and jointly develop next-generation electric drive solutions that meet the needs of international first-line OEMs by virtue of their respective technical advantages in the fields of new energy vehicle powertrains, motor controllers and power semiconductor modules, with the goal of achieving mass production in 2023. At the same time, Schaeffler will also invest in Zhen drive technology.

Founded in 2017, Zhen drive Technology is a high-tech company focusing on electric drive solutions for new energy vehicles, as well as its core motor controller and power semiconductor module. In the past four years of development, it has brought together nearly 200 first-class talents at home and abroad. The company's headquarters, R&D center and experimental center are located in Shanghai, and the electronic control production base is located in Liuzhou. This dual electronic control platform product combines high performance and cost advantages, and the internal power module is completely developed by Zhen Drive Technology. With a power density of more than 37 kVA/L and a peak efficiency of > 98 percent, EMC meets Class 3 and is functionally safe asIL-C compliant.

At the same time, Zhen drive technology is deeply involved in the field of power semiconductors, iteratively developed a variety of IGBT and silicon carbide products, and completed the development and testing from devices and electric drives to vehicle level. The company's self-developed IGBT module has been widely used in high-end industrial fields such as new energy vehicle electronic control and wind and solar hydrogen storage. In the field of third-generation power semiconductors, Zhen drive Technology has jointly established a joint laboratory with Japan's ROHM Semiconductor, and cooperated with a number of international first-line OEMs and Tier1 parts suppliers, including SAIC Volkswagen, to carry out silicon carbide technology research and development projects. After multiple rounds of actual measurement, the battery life of pure electric models equipped with a pure electric carbide controller can be increased by 4.4%-5.6%.
