Not only that, since the third year of the Jin Dynasty Emperor Long'an, he had quelled sun en's rebellion internally, eliminated Huan Chu, Western Shu, Lu Xun, Liu Yi, Sima Xiuzhi and other separatist forces, and brought about a unified situation in the south that had not been seen in a hundred years; externally destroyed the southern Yan, Later Qin, and other states, surrendered to Qiuchi, and then destroyed northern Wei with a monthly array, recovered Huaibei, Shandong, Henan, Guanzhong, and other places, and restored Luoyang and Chang'an. With great military merit, he was able to take over the military and political power of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the officials worshiped Xiangguo and Yangzhou Mu and was crowned the King of Song.
In the first year of the Yong Dynasty, Liu Yudai established himself on his own, and the capital was Jiankang, with the national name "Song". During his ruling power, he learned the lessons of the former dynasty's powerful and tyrannical lords, strengthened the centralization of power, suppressed mergers and acquisitions, implemented local government breaks, straightened out the rule of officials, reused the cold soldiers, revitalized education, and sent envoys to visit the people's sufferings on many occasions, lightly dispensed with the meagre endowments, abolished harsh laws, improved social conditions, put an end to the era of the dictatorship of the door valves, and laid the political pattern of the Southern Dynasty in which "the cold people are in charge of the secrets."
