"Hug Puzi", written by Ge Hong during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was divided into two parts, both inside and outside, and was later used as a Taoist classic. Among them, the "Outer Chapter" is mainly a self-description of Ge Hong's life and discussing various things in society, while the "Inner Chapter" is Ge Hong's exposition of Taoist thought and Dan Dao cultivation methods.

"Hug Puzi" is divided into inner and outer chapters. There are 20 articles in the "inner chapter", which discuss the immortals, alchemy, talismans and other things, and 50 articles in the "outer chapter", which discuss the "gains and losses of current politics and personnel". In the "Outer Chapters", "Jun Shi", "Shang Bo", "Ciyi", "Wen Xing" and other chapters also involve the content of literary theory criticism.

"Hug Puzi On Immortals" is one of the 20 articles in it, which is relatively rare. Hug Pu is a Taoist term, derived from the sentence of "Lao Tzu", "see plain and hug simple, less selfish and have few desires". There are 8 volumes in the inner and outer chapters of Baopuzi, 20 of which discuss the art of the immortal spitting out the seal and the outer chapter, and 50 of the outer chapters discuss the gains and losses of current affairs, whether the personnel are in charge or not, and the purpose of the words is distinguished, and there is a name for it.

On the second immortal

Someone asked: "Is it really possible for the gods to live forever?" Bao Puzi replied: Even the person with the best eyesight cannot see all the tangible things; even the person with the best hearing cannot hear all the sounds one by one; even if he has the great chapter and the right foot, the places he has walked are still not as many; even if he has the wisdom of Dayu, Boyi, and Zhang Harmonic, he has not seen much of what he has seen.

Besides, people who have become immortals have been seen everywhere in various records, how can there be no way of immortality?" So the questioner laughed and said, "If there is a beginning, there must be an end, and if there is existence, there must be death."

Therefore, saints like the Three Emperors and Five Emperors, Kong Qiu, and Zhou Gong, wise men like Hou Ji, Zhu Lizi, Zhang Liang, and Chen Ping, eloquent talents like Duanmu Ci, Yan Ying, Sui He, and Li Shiqi, and warriors like Meng Ben, Xia Yu, and Wuding are also dead.

People have only heard of withering before the frost falls, falling green in the middle of summer, carrying pregnant ears but not flowering, withering without fruit, and have not heard of anyone who enjoys a long life and lives forever without dying. Therefore, the ancients did not seek to become immortals, did not involve strange things in their speech, put an end to those doctrines that were not in line with the right path, abided by this natural law, excluded turtles and cranes into categories other than humans, and regarded life and death as short as morning and twilight.

If you painstakingly restrain yourself and do something that is not beneficial, like carving ice cubes and carving rotten wood, it will not be fruitful in the end, so it is better to display the clever strategy of Kuang Shiji, and obtain the blessing of your life, so that the purple and green ribbon is tied back to your body, and the rise of the dynasty is celebrated with black male animals, and the beautiful car is used instead of walking, and the food in the ding is replaced by the farming in the field, isn't it also good?

Whenever I think of the poet's satirical satire of the monarch in "Futian", and then ponder Confucius's assertion that "all people die", I will not do those things that are like grasping the formless wind, capturing the elusive shadow, asking for the unattainable, walking the road that cannot reach the goal, giving up glory and wealth to get involved in hardship, leaving what is at my fingertips and seeking difficult things.

These are just like the story of 'The Wandering Girl of the Mulberry', which will inevitably lead to damage at both ends and regret it, and like Shan Bao and Zhang Yi, stubborn and biased, will inevitably lead to disasters inside and outside the body. Even the Gong Yi Ban and Mo Zhai could not cut the tile stone into the tip of a needle, and Ou Yezi could not cast lead and tin into a sword, so what could not be done, even the ghosts and gods could not do it, and what could not be done, even heaven and earth could not do it.

Where in the world can we get a miracle that can turn an old man back into a teenager and resurrect a person who should have died? But the gentleman wants to prolong the life of the cockroach and let it live for a year, and wants to maintain the glory of the fungus so that it can live for a month, isn't it ridiculous? I hope you will think more about it, realize that you have lost it, and don't go too far.

Bao Puzi replied: "If a man loses his sense of hearing, then he cannot hear the deafening thunder, and if he loses his vision, then he cannot see the light of the sun, moon and stars, let alone the small sound of bumps, and the subtle scenery in the sky."

"Therefore the deaf say that there is no sound in the world, and the blind say that there is nothing in the world, let alone the harmony of the orchestra and the beautiful pattern of the mountain dragon on the garment, how can they appreciate the harmonious and elegant rhyme and the bright picture of the scales?

Therefore, the deaf and the blind feel only tangible things, but they do not believe that there are paintings by cloud masters and the sun, moon and stars in the sky, let alone more subtle things than this?

On the second immortal

It is true that there is a general situation in the world, and there must be a beginning and an end, but there are different differences, some like this, some like that, changing endlessly, strange, and there is no certain law.

The expression of the same essence is different, and the branches that are fundamentally the same are contrary to each other, and cannot be generalized. There are many people who say that there is a beginning and an end, and it is not the right thing to confuse and treat the ever-changing things as well.

It is said that all things will grow in summer, but the wheat withers at this time, that everything will wither in winter, but the bamboo and cypress will flourish at this time, that there is a beginning and an end, but the heavens and the earth are endless, that there is life and death, but the turtle and crane live forever.

Midsummer should be hot, but summer may not be without cool days, and winter should be cold, but winter may not be without brief warmth.

Hundreds of rivers flow eastward to the sea, but there are also gurgling waters that go northward; the land belongs to Kundao should be quiet, but sometimes it will shake and collapse. The water is cold by nature, but there are hot springs in the valley, and the fire is hot by nature, but it also has the cold flame of Xiaoqiu.

Heavy things should sink into the water, but there are mountains of pumice stones in the South China Sea, and light things should rise to the surface, but there are rivers that sink feathers. There are all kinds of things in the world, and there is no one standard to generalize. It's been so complex for a long time.

There is no one more spiritual in living things than man, and those who have the most precious spirituality should be uniform. But the difference between the wise and stupid, the treacherous and upright, the beautiful and ugly, the slender and the short, the innocent and filthy, the chaste and the, the slow and eager, the slow and the quick, the choice of things and the demands of the ears and eyes, are so different and as opposed to each other?

If it is said that the disposition of all things to accept the formation of vitality is fixed, pheasants become large clams, birds and finches become clams, larvae grow beautiful wings, shrimp and toads in the river fly up and down, water flies become green flies, water cocos give birth to maggots, voles turn into quail birds, rotting grass gives birth to fireflies, dragons become tigers, and snakes become dragons, is this not a fact?

If it is said that the pure nature of human beings is different from other ordinary animals, and when God gives life to people, it will not favor one over the other, then what are the reasons why the first bull begs to become a tiger, the old woman of Chu Di becomes a big turtle, a willow branch grows on the elbow of a broken uncle, the woman of Qin becomes a stone, the dead come to life, men and women change their appearance and sex with each other, Lao Tzu and Peng Zu live a long life, and die of a minor? If the nature of each person is different, then what is the limit of this difference!

On the second immortal

As for the immortals, they use medicine to cultivate their bodies, and use mathematics to prolong their lifespan, so that the diseases in the body do not grow, and the invasion of the outside of the body does not enter, although they live for a long time, and the old face does not change in any way.

If you follow the way of the immortals, it is not difficult to do. And those who are shallow in their knowledge, stick to the world, stick to conventions, and say that they have never seen immortals in the world, so they think that there will definitely be no such thing in the world.

If people have seen it with their own eyes, then what else can we say? Between heaven and earth, there is no boundless vastness, and where can there be a limit to the peculiar and strange things in it?

From birth to death, man has the sky above his head, but he does not know how high the sky is, and he has always stepped on the earth all his life, but he does not know how thick the earth is. The skeleton is owned by oneself, but one does not know why one's mind is like this; the life span is in one's own hands, but one does not know how long it can be, not to mention that the truth of becoming an immortal is so lofty and the morality is so profound and mysterious? Isn't it too sad to judge the existence or absence of subtle and subtle ways with one's own short-sighted knowledge?

On the second immortal

"If there is a person who has the ability to see beyond the ordinary, who can be called of great use, who hides his body, who conceals his thoughts, who abolishes the packaging of hypocrisy, who removes human desires, who stands in the purest and most generous qualities, and who discards the unimportant things outside the world, the world will seldom be able to discern that someone will achieve his ambition without fame, and who will attain a spirit of detachment from the world with a vulgar appearance and body.

Moreover, the immortals have great differences in aspirations and paths from mortals! Immortals regard wealth as misfortune, glory as filth, precious playthings as dust of poplar ash, and fame and reputation as fleeting morning dew; immortals step on the blazing fire without being burned, and walk lightly on the deep waves; they fly in the sky with their wings agitated, take the long wind as their horses, and the clouds as their chariots, soar above the Purple Palace in the Arctic and dwell in the Kunlun Mountains below, how can those philistines who are like walking corpses see them?

Even if the immortals occasionally wander, sometimes pass through the world, hide their true faces and peculiarities, and look like mortals, even if people are shoulder to shoulder with them, and their feet touch their feet, who can perceive it?

If the immortals are like the people in the suburbs, the eyes are square, the ears grow heads like Qiong Shu, or they ride the dragon like Ma Shihuang, or ride the white crane to heaven like Wang Ziqiao, or they have scales like Fuxi, and Nuwa has the body of a snake, or they ride a golden chariot and wear feather clothes, then mortals can know that they are immortals.

If this is not the case, then how can a person without keen insight see what they look like, and how can a person without a thorough sense of hearing hear their voices?

The people of the world do not believe in the existence of immortals, and they often accuse and slander them, and those who have attained the truth are very disgusted, so they are even more hidden. Moreover, what ordinary people love is often hated by people with high morals, and what is valued by ordinary people is often despised by those who have attained the highest level of moral cultivation.

Those outstanding Confucian scholars, talents who can take on great things, and people who cultivate righteousness, are still not willing to deal with people with shallow knowledge and people who are addicted to red dust, not to mention those immortals, why should they be eager to let those people like disposable grass dogs know what kind of things exist and are worth pursuing?

Ordinary people can see a hundred steps away, but they can't exhaust them all, but if they have to judge the point they see as there is something, and the thing they can't see as nothing, then there must be too many things that do not exist in the world. Just like using your finger to measure the depth of the sea, you will be able to touch the place where your finger touches. Can mayflies check the majesty of the giant turtle and measure the age of the giant turtle?

Emperor Wei Wendi was well-informed, claiming to know everything about things, and once said that there was no knife of cutting jade and cloth of fire and huan in the world, and when he wrote the "Classics", he also quoted classics to discuss this matter. Less than a year later, both of these things appeared, and Emperor Wei Wendi sighed and immediately overturned the previous conclusion.

There is no absolute certainty in everything, and this is probably the case. Chen Siwu's book "On the Interpretation of Doubts" said: At first, when it comes to Taoism, it must be said that it is empty words of geldings who fool the people. When I saw Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty trying to lock Zuo Ci up and make him open the valley for nearly a month, Zuo Ci's face was not haggard, his strength was free, and he often said that he could go without eating for fifty years, which is exactly the case, what is there to doubt?

He also said, "Let Gan Shi give the medicine to the live fish, and then put it in boiling oil to decoction, those that do not contain medicine are fully cooked and edible, and those who contain medicine play in boiling oil all day long, as in water; in addition, apply the medicinal powder to the mulberry leaves and feed the silkworms, and the silkworms will live until October and will not grow old; and feed the chicks and newborn puppies with the resident medicine, and they will stop growing and no longer grow; and feed the white dogs with white medicine, and the white hair will turn black within 100 days.

It is impossible for a person to know all the things in the world, and it is not credible to make subjective assumptions. The two brothers Cao Pi and Cao Zhi, in terms of knowledge, can be said to be a generation of elites, but at first they all thought that there were no immortals, and it was only in their later years that they exhausted their reasoning and thoroughly understood the nature of things, so they sighed. It is not surprising that those who can't catch up with them don't believe in immortals.

Liu Xiang is erudite, his research problems are extremely mysterious, and he is far-reaching; he is good at thinking, can distinguish between true deeds, and study what is not. If there were no such things at all, why would he make them up? How could anyone have seen them with his own eyes, and they all relied on various biographies, books, and rumors from the past.

On the second immortal

The record of "The Legend of the Immortals" is clear, and the things of the gods must exist. However, this does not come from the door of Zhou Gong, and the things recorded by the hand of the nun have never been believed by the world.

In this case, then all the records recorded in the ancient history books can be said to be false, and the matter of protecting the immortals is not true? The laity are greedy for vanity, chasing fame and fortune, and thinking about the ancients with a burning heart, so they do not believe that there were people like Chaofu, Xu You, Lao Lai, and Zhuang Zhou in ancient times, who avoided the emperor's concessions and despised the noble position of the emperor, and thought that there would be no such people.

What's more, the immortals are even more difficult to understand than these people, so how can they ask people today to believe in them? There are many people who say that Liu Xiang is not a saint, and the things he recorded cannot be used as evidence alone, which makes people sigh even more.

The history of the country recorded by the historians of the Lu State could not be in harmony with heaven and earth, so Confucius sorted it out and revised it into the Spring and Autumn Period; although the description in Sima Qian's Historical Records was not as clear and thorough as the sun and the moon, Yang Xiong still called it a real record.

Liu Xiang was a famous Confucian sage in the Han Dynasty, so how could he discard and disbelieve what he wrote? The reason why the people of the great world did not believe that the way of immortals could be learned, and did not agree that the life span could be extended, was because Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty could not get it when they sought immortals, and because the practices of Li Shaojun and Luan Da were not fulfilled. However, we should not think that there were no rich people such as Tao Zhu and Yidun in ancient times because of the poverty of Qianlou and Yuanxian, and we should not think that there were no beauties like Nanwei and Xishi in the past because of the ugliness of saltless and tumor.

There are still those who cannot reach the destination when they work hard, there are still those who cannot get the harvest when they plant crops, there are sometimes losses among the traders, and sometimes there are failures in wars, not to mention that the matter of seeking immortals is the most difficult, how can those who seek immortals have success? For example, the two emperors of Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and the two courtiers of Li Shaojun and Luan Tai will have their own reasons for not being able to ask for them, perhaps because they began to be diligent and later lazy, or maybe they did not meet famous teachers, how can this be enough to conclude that there are no immortals in the world?

On the second immortal

"Seeking immortality and cultivating the avenue of immortals, the key lies in aspiration rather than wealth. If you are not a person with aspirations, even if you have a noble status and rich property, you will become a heavy burden.

Why? It should be indifferent, quiet and pleasant, wash away distracting thoughts and hobbies, look inwardly and listen to it, and the corpse dwells without heart. And the emperor shoulders the heavy responsibility of the world, governs the busy government affairs, thinks and works tirelessly because of all the opportunities of the day, and the mind gallops through everything in the universe. If there is a slight mistake, the way of ruling the world with "benevolence and righteousness" will be destroyed, and if the people make mistakes, the emperor and general will have to say that the responsibility lies with me.

The mellow wine disturbed his harmony, and the delicate beauty hurt his foundation, and as for the weakening of the essence, the damage of the mind, the destruction of the balance, the reduction of the essence, and so on, I will not go into detail about them.

How could the emperors hide their ingenuity, think about their internal organs, count their breaths silently, fast for a long time, and purify their bodies and minds, and personally stay by the alchemy furnace, get up early and sleep late to refine the essence of the eight stones?

Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty had the highest lifespan during his reign, and he had already received a small benefit from health preservation. However, such a small subsidy for Shenghe could not provide for such a large consumption as Zhongshi, and the water in the small ditch in the field could not provide such a large discharge as the tail lu. "The magic of the gods calls for silence and forgetfulness of one's body, while the crowd strikes the bell weighing a thousand stones, and beats the thunderous drum, which rumbles and thrills, and all kinds of tricks and variations make him lose his energy and fill his ears and eyes, and the swift bird flies away and the swift beast runs away, and catches the fish that dives deep in the water and shoots down the birds that fly high in the air.

The spells of the gods require people to love insects and insects and not harm living things, and once the human king is angry, he will have the ability to cut off the hostile killing; with a wave of Huang Yue and a sharp axe, he will be strewn thousands of miles of corpses and blood; and the execution of beheading and cutting off his waist is endless. The method of the gods requires people to cut off the smell, stop eating grains, and cleanse the stomach, while the people cook cattle, sheep and livestock, and slaughter all living things; the delicacies of the mountains and the sea, the harmony of all kinds of flavors, and the sumptuous dishes are listed in front of them; and the decoction and preparation of various spices are delicacies and delicacies, which make people satisfied.

The spells of the gods require people to love the four directions and treat people as they are, while the people swallow up the weak, attack the politically dim countries, take advantage of the war, overthrow the regimes of other countries, open up the territory, and expand the territory; destroy other people's countries, drive the common people there, and put them to death, so that the lonely ghosts float in the far frontiers, and the exposed corpses are lost and abandoned in the bleak wilderness; there are blood-stained and red-bladed armies in Wuling, and the head of the Dawan monarch is hung in the imperial court; The tyranny of Qin Shi Huang made nine out of ten families want to cause a rebellion; Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty used troops to make the whole world complain, and the household registration was reduced by half. Birthday celebrations increase lifespan, while curses decrease lifespan.

The grass is repaid because he knows that he is kind to himself, but he can't even see the corpse, and he will inevitably have a grudge against the soldier. All kinds of troubles hurt the vital parts of his body, and people and ghosts hated him together. Those two emperors only have the name of good immortals but have no cultivation facts, that is, the superficial things they know about seeking immortals, and they can't implement them one by one, and those advanced key secrets in the immortal path have not been obtained, and there are no people who have attained the Tao to synthesize immortal medicine for them to offer, so it is not surprising that they are not allowed to live forever.

"I am just a common man, coupled with poverty and poverty, coupled with poverty and poverty, my home is like Sima Xiang's empty four walls, my belly is like an elephant starving food under the shade of mulberry for three days, in winter it is like the cold of being locked outside the city gate at night and freezing to death, and in summer it is like the heat of Zhongru's house being exposed to the sun. They want to travel far away but lack the cost of boats and horses, and they want to make a business but have no servant who can do it for them.

When you come home, you don't have the enjoyment of silk and satin, and when you go out, you don't have the joy of sightseeing. You can't taste the delicacies with your own mouth, you can't see the colored silk with your own eyes, you can't smell the fragrance with your nose, and you can't listen to the five tones and eight tones with your ears. And a thousand sorrows always attack the depths of the heart. Thousands of hardships often gather in their own homes, and living in the world like this, it can be said that there is nothing to be nostalgic for.

On the second immortal

"Some people have obtained the essentials and secrets of cultivation, and some people have met an extraordinary teacher, but because they can't do without their old wives and weak children, they are attached to the ruins of their hometown, and they can't make up their minds for a long time, so that until they die, they sigh that the sun and the moon are in a hurry, and they don't feel old.

I know that immortality is something that can be attained, but I don't cultivate, and I hate worldly fame and fortune, but I can't discard it. Why? Because a person's usual hobbies and habits are always difficult to queue, and unconventional ambitions are easily fruitless. What's more, Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty are the lords of the four seas, and there is more than one kind of reward and punishment that they love to play, and there are also a lot of people who are fortunate to them.

Let him fast for a month and live idle for a few days, but he has not yet done it, let alone let them leave the young and beautiful favorite concubine in the palace, give up the majestic and prominent position outside the palace, do not eat sweet food, cut off all desires, give up glory and wealth, and go to the deep and quiet realm to pursue the way to become immortals, is it what they can endure?

Therefore, looking back on the past, most of the people who attained the immortal path were poor people, not people in powerful positions. Besides, what Luan Tai knows is really very shallow, he longs for glory and wealth, seeks treasures and money, secretly shows off his vainness, and forgets the disaster when he does nothing, how can the treacherous and deceitful behavior of such a mere kid prove that there are no gods in the world?

In the past, Gou Jian paid tribute to the angry frog Pingshi, and the soldiers rushed to the soup and fire; King Chu Ling liked women with thin waists, and many people in the country starved to death because of this; Duke Qi Huan loved to eat rare and exotic food, and Yi Ya steamed his son for him to eat; the monarch of Song rewarded a person who was emaciated by excessive sorrow for keeping filial piety, so there were many people in the country who died because of the sadness of keeping filial piety. There is nothing that you can't do if you want to be a king.

Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty summoned Fang Shi and treated them so favorably that these fellows dared to deceive them with false and absurd things. If Luan Tai really has a way, how can he be killed?

A truly virtuous person regards accepting a high-ranking official as being tortured by a wok, wearing a gold seal and purple ribbon as if wearing a coarse mourning dress, treating gold and white jade as dung, and treating the Huawu Palace as a prison. Where do they hold their wrists and tell lies, seek glory and wealth by luck, believe in a rich and beautiful palace, enjoy immeasurable rewards, wear the great seal of General Wuli, get married to noble princesses, indulge in power and interests, and do not know how to stop and be satisfied?

According to Dong Zhongshu's "Li Shaojun's Family Record", Shaojun had a prescription for immortality, but because his family was poor and had no money to buy the medicine listed above, he went out of the mountain to the Han Dynasty in order to seek money to buy medicine through this way, and left after Taoism.

According to the Han Dynasty's "Forbidden Living Note", when the young monarch was leaving, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty dreamed of going to Song Mountain with him, and on the way, a messenger came down from the clouds with a dragon holding a talisman, saying that he had invited the young monarch to go. After Emperor Wu woke up, he told the people around him about the dream, saying, "Taijun said that he would abandon me." A few days later, Shaojun claimed to be ill and died.

After some time, Emperor Wu asked people to open Shaojun's coffin and saw that there was no body inside, only clothes. According to the "Book of Immortals", the sergeant can fly to the sky and is called the heavenly immortal; the sergeant swims in the famous mountain and is called the earth immortal; the corporal first fakes his death and then transforms, which is called the Xie Xian.

Now it seems that Shaojun must belong to the category of autopsy immortals. In modern times, Hugong left with Fei Changfang, and the Taoist soldier Li Yiqi left with two disciples, all of which were pretended to be sudden deaths, and their families buried them. After a few years, the long house came back, and there was an acquaintance who saw Li Yiqi living in Pixian with two disciples, and their families all opened the coffin to inspect it, and found that there was only one bamboo cane in the three coffins, and the cane was written with vermilion lacquer, and these were autopsy immortals.

In the past, Wang Mang used to quote the Three Tombs and Five Classics to cover up his own people's treachery in seizing power and usurping the throne, but it can be said that all Confucian scholars are thieves who seek power and usurp the throne; Sima Liexiangru caused Zhuo Wenjun to elope with him because he played the piano, but it cannot be said that all elegant music is dedicated to making people indulge in debauchery.

Those who choke to death can't blame the Shennong clan for teaching people to sow a hundred grains, the burned people can't be angry at the Suiren clan's invention of drilling wood to make fire, the people who capsize and drown can't blame the Yellow Emperor for making a boat, and the people who spill trouble can't criticize Du Kang and Yidi for brewing into a spilling pulp. How can it be said that there must be no immortal path because of Luan Tai's treachery and hypocrisy?

This is like seeing traitorous ministers such as Zhao Gao and Dong Zhuo, and saying that there were no loyal ministers like Yi Yin, Zhou Gong, and Huo Guang in ancient times;

There are also spells that summon the gods to expel ghosts, as well as spells that make people see ghosts. When the laity heard this, they thought that the article was fabricated out of thin air. Some people say that there are no ghosts and gods in the world, and some people say that there are, but they cannot be expelled or summoned. Some people say that people who can see ghosts are called 'witches' for men and 'witches' for women, which should be an innate instinct and cannot be learned.

"Book of Han" and "Taishi Gongji" both talk about the young man of Qi, and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sealed him as General Wencheng. After the death of Emperor Wu's favored Mrs. Li, the young man was able to make Emperor Wu see her again, as if she were a living person, and he could also make Emperor Wu see the god of the stove. All of this is clearly recorded in the history books.

If magic can make ghosts manifest, and if they can make ghosts visible to those who can't see ghosts, what is the rest of the things that are impossible?

Ghosts and gods have come to the world many times, the light is strange, and there are many evidences of ghosts and gods in the records of the scriptures, and the laity still do not believe that there are ghosts and gods in the world, not to mention that the immortals live in high and distant places, and the filth of the secular language is different from the stream, ascending to the immortals, and no longer returning to the world, not a person who has attained the Tao, how can he see and hear it?

And the Confucian Mohists know that ghosts and gods cannot be used to admonish the world, so they never say that they exist, so secular people don't believe in ghosts and gods, isn't it in love?

Only those who recognize the truth, choose many methods for assessment, and get verified, can verify the existence of ghosts and gods, but they can only know it themselves, and they can't force others to think the same. Therefore, if you have never seen ghosts and gods, you have never seen immortals, and you can't think that there are no immortals in the world.

No matter how smart or stupid people are, they all know that they have a soul in them, and if the soul leaves, some people will get sick, and all of them will die. Therefore, when some of the souls leave, the warlock uses the 'detention method' to capture them, and when all the souls leave, the 'spiritualism method' is recorded in the "Rituals". These are the closest things to people in all things.

However, the soul is born with man, until death, and no one says that he has seen or heard it. How can you say that you have no soul because you have not heard or seen?

As for the ghost who repaid Wei for saving his daughter in the battle of Fu's war; the ancestors of the Song Kingdom, Cheng Tang and Yi Yin, were angry for Qi Jinggong's attack on the Song Dynasty, and they appeared in a dream; the ghost of Shen Sheng, the late prince of the Jin Kingdom, encountered a fox and told him that Qin would destroy the Jin; Du Bo was innocently killed, and the ghost took revenge on King Xuan of Zhou; the son Peng Sheng was in the form of a black pig, which made Qi Xianggong frightened and fell into a car and was injured; King Zhao Ruyi entrusted the shape of a green dog to bite the armpit of Empress Lu and made it die, in order to avenge the murder of the concubine; Bushman, Dou Ying was impeached by the ministers of Qin for capital crimes, and the ghosts whipped the enemy Tian Fen with a cane; Zhuang Ziyi was innocently killed by Yan Jiangong, and the ghost beat Jian Gong to death in the car with a red rod, and the god of punishment in heaven collected the dream to Duke Yu and told him that the kingdom of Qiu was about to die; the god Luan Hou often went to the people's homes to help them eliminate disasters and avoid disasters; Su Jiang expounded on the prophecy of Wei; filial piety and grandson wrote articles; the gods spoke to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty in Shanglin Yuan; the god king of Luoyang County was an official in Sun Wu, these things about ghosts and gods were written in books, clear and innumerable, but those who were deceived still thought that there were no such things, not to mention that the matter of immortality was rarely heard by the world?

To convince these people of the existence of these immortals is like asking a mosquito gadfly to carry a mountain and talk to a toad at the bottom of a well about the sea. The world has never seen dragons, unicorns, and birds, so they say that there are no such things in the world, and think that they are the auspicious things that the ancients set up to meet the virtue of the monarch, so as to make the people and kings strive for self-improvement, in order to attract these rare things, let alone make them believe that there are immortals?

On the second immortal

Because Liu Xiang failed to refine gold, the world said that he was seeking the hidden and strange things in the legend, and liked to spread the unreal, and thought that the "Legend of the Immortals" he wrote was also an absurd story. Pathetic!

This is the so-called because of the big flaw of the measure, the big night pearl will be discarded, because of the big defect of the ant dust, the Chunjun sword will be abandoned as a priceless treasure. Without Bian He's foresight and sagacity, and without Feng Hu's appreciation of swords, this is the reason why Tao Zhugong is so depressed and unhappy, and Xue Zhu is always sighing!

The methods of making gold are written in the "Collection of Immortals", and the king of Huainan copied them out, and although there are production methods in the book "Hongbao Pillow Book", the important content is described in secret language, and the secret decisions must be taught by himself, and the article is directly explained before it can be refined. Most of the drugs he used had changed their original names and could not be used directly according to the literal names. Liu Xiang's father obtained this book in the file when he was dealing with the case of the rebellion of the king of Huainan, and it was not taught by the teacher himself.

Liu Xiangben didn't know Taoism, and when he saw this book by chance, he thought that the meaning of it was written on paper, so he couldn't make alchemy. As for his writing of "The Biography of the Immortals", which was deleted from the book of Qin Dafu Ruan Cang, some say that he saw it with his own eyes and then wrote it down, which is not nonsense.

Nursery rhymes are wild, and the saints have to choose them; some of the words of the grass and fields should not be abandoned; the leaves of the vines and the weeds should not be collected without even their roots, how can it be said that the scriptures cannot be carried out because there is one mistake in the hundred considerations, and because there have been solar and lunar eclipses, it is said that the sun and the moon are not very bright?

Foreigners make water spirit bowls, in fact, they are made of 500 kinds of ash, and many people in Jiaozhou and Guangzhou get this method to cast water spirit bowls. Now, if you tell the worldly people about this, they don't believe it at all, they think that the water spirit is a natural formation, belonging to something like jade.

Besides, there is a natural source of gold in the world, so how can the world believe that it can be artificially made? The fool does not believe that Huang Dan and Hu Fen are made of molten lead, nor do they believe that mules and horses are born from the mating of mules and horses, and that each thing has its own species, let alone such an unknowable thing as a god?

It is common sense in the world that the less you have seen, the more strange things you feel. How true is this! It's like a thing as clear as the sky, but if a person is in the midst of a reversal, how can he recognize those deep and pertinent comments?
