Beijing, January 13 (China News Network) -- The launching ceremony of the original children's drama "Luduan", jointly produced by the Palace Museum and Yi Ruiqi International Culture, was held at the Palace Museum on the 13th.

"Lu Duan" is the first original children's drama produced by the Palace Museum. Based on the Forbidden City beast "Lu duan", the drama tells a series of interesting and touching stories between the protagonist Xiao Luduan and his cultural relics family members because of a debate over whether to participate in a live webcast event.

In the play, there are xiaoluduan, a god-ray beast that travels thousands of miles a day, a "snake crawling" with thousands of miles, and a royal cat team, Xingshi, Jin Ou Yonggu Cup, Ping Fu Ti and Mei Que Tu... The serious and solemn cultural relics of the Forbidden City are presented in a cute and personalized image, which truly makes the cultural relics "alive". From the perspective of children, the play designs the story in a parent-child dialogue way, so as to guide young people into the museum, feel the history, and inherit the culture.

Gu Xiulian, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress and director of the China Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, said that the play disseminates China's excellent traditional culture, popularizes cultural relics knowledge, organically integrates museums and dramas, and integrates correct values into children's theater aesthetic education activities.

Wang Xudong, president of the Palace Museum, said that in recent years, the Palace Museum has actively sought foreign cooperation and done a good job in the creative transformation and innovative development of China's excellent traditional culture with an open and inclusive attitude and complementary advantages. The Palace Museum provided academic guidance for the play, and the creative team completed the creative transformation, and each other's advantages were brought into play to jointly promote the creation of the play. The Palace Museum insists on putting social benefits in the first place, and plans to do a number of public welfare performances after the launch of the play to give play to the role of the Palace Museum's public cultural services.

It is reported that the play will be toured nationwide after the completion of the creation and rehearsal, and a variety of public welfare activities will be held for teenagers during the period. (End)
