"Because of Daddy" is produced by the Children's Art Creation and Research Base of "China in the Voice of Children" in Tongzhou, Jiangsu Province, Nantong Art Theater, and performed by the Nantong Art Theater Drama Troupe, telling the story of a young boy named Jin Guo who grew into a man. As a police officer, my father was busy with official duties and was unable to fulfill his agreement to take a family portrait. When dad sacrificed himself at work because of overwork, taking a family portrait became Jinguo's eternal regret.
"Advocating heroes will produce heroes, and striving to be heroes can produce heroes." Jinguo experienced tearful growth and understood his father's interpretation of the mission. When the same police uniform is worn on jinguo, we see the inheritance of heroic spirit, and see the same willingness to dedicate and dare to sacrifice.
The play was created and edited by the famous screenwriter Xue Mei based on Han Qingchen's novel of the same name, with Ding Xiaoqiu, vice president of the China Children's Theater Research Association, as the artistic director, and Yang Kun, a national first-class director.
With the theme of "Happy Transmission, Friendship Lasts Forever", the 7th Xi'an International Children's Theatre Festival has become a well-known brand in international children's theatre exhibitions. The 11th China Children's Theatre Festival is hosted by the China Children's Art Theatre, with the theme of "Enjoy Drama, Healthy Growth", and is the highest standard children's drama exhibition and performance activity in China.
