According to the plan, FAW Toyota's new Asian Dragon will be mass-produced in February this year, and it is likely to be completed in the first quarter of next year. Recently, the online car market obtained a set of macro configuration information of the new Asian Dragon, and the new car has added 12.3-inch LCD instruments, 10.1-inch central control screens, dual color-blocking sports seats, wireless charging, keyless entry on the co-driver's side according to different configuration models. However, there are also points to be deducted, such as the headlight level adjustment from automatic adjustment to manual, and the 9-inch central control screen is reduced to 8 inches.

Specifically, the 2.0L model adds TSS2.5 smart travel safety system, Type C interface, co-pilot keyless entry, shark fin antenna, mobile phone wireless charging, 10.1-inch central control screen, full LCD instrument, etc.; the 2.5L model adds dual color-blocking sports seats, touch-type temperature control panels, and auto-dimming inner rearview mirrors on the basis of the 2.0L model; the 2.5L hybrid model has more inductive wipers and 12.3-inch full LCD instruments than the 2.5L model.
The new Asian Dragon exterior will offer two designs, a more aggressive black honeycomb-like structure that matches a sporty version, and a relatively conventional chrome lattice style, corresponding to a regular version. In the details, the headlight group of the new car has also been adjusted, and the daytime running light strip is larger and more eye-catching. The new model is also expected to continue the powertrain of the current model, offering two types of 2.0L and 2.5L hybrid systems, the latter of which is equipped with a 2.5L naturally aspirated engine codenamed A25H with a maximum power of 131 kW, and the combined maximum power is expected to be 160 kW in line with the current model.
