On January 13, Toyota released a new generation of Noah/Voxy official diagram, it is reported that the new car will be based on the TNAG architecture, positioned in a compact MPV, slightly lower than Previa.
In addition, the new car will be available in two different designs, the Noah and Voxy.
Specifically, the overall style of the new Noah is very similar to that of its eldest brother Alpha, the front of the car uses a wide stripe type front grille net, the two sides of the narrow headlight group combined with the grille to form an integrated shape, the front surround on both sides have a huge size of heat dissipation opening shape, and the outside side is equipped with a circular fog light group.
Unlike Noah, the new Voxy adopts a more dynamic design, the headlights group adopts a split structure, and the front surround adopts a huge grid structure, and the near and far light groups are integrated, but at a glance, it is a bit like the domestic SAIC Maxus (formerly Chase) series models.
The side and tail shapes of Noah and Voxy are almost indistinguishable, both adopting the structure of traditional MPV, and equipped with double-sided sliding doors, double A-pillars and suspended roofs, except that the VOXY tail is equipped with double chrome trim strips for a more visual sense.
As a practical MPV, the new car adopts a traditional pointer-type instrument panel and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, although it is equipped with a central control screen, but in terms of style, it is indeed very cheap.
However, the new car configuration is quite rich, with 7-seater and 8-seat layouts to choose from, and also equipped with seat ventilation/heating, steering wheel heating, automatic air conditioning, automatic parking, driving mode selection, lane departure warning, active driving assistance, etc
In terms of power, the new car will provide a pure fuel version of the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine and a hybrid version of the 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine plus electric motor, which are matched with the CVT transmission and the E-CVT transmission, and both powertrains are available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models.
